These aren't your run of the mill glasses from Amazon with a brand name like apfdiopiadfbasdf or otopeereber, these are from Mikasa. Even if you don't know the brand, the thing to know is that it's a real brand that exists in the world, unlike so many absolute trash products sold from amazon.These are really nice glasses, with a great weight and great durability. They feel really good in the hand, and feel like they'll last a long time. They're glasses. That's about it. They're the kind of glasses you might have expected to get as a standard at some point, but unfortunately are now kind of at the top end of what you might expect. They're good - if you need glasses like this these are what you're looking for.

These whiskey glasses are heavy-duty in terms of heft; my scale measures a weight of 14.9 ounces per glass (nearly one pound). The angular pattern gives these a classy, elegant look. The dimensions listed in the description are accurate; the glass is basically 4" tall with a 3" top opening. Cleaning is simple; I had no issues washing these on the top rack of my dishwasher. The only thing that struck me as odd is the Mikasa label does not appear on the glassware? I own older Mikasa drinking glasses and the name is etched on the bottom. Furthermore, these glasses arrived in a plain brown box with no Mikasa markings other than on the UPC sticker. This may be a function of being a Vine product, but if I were purchasing these as a present, I'd hope they would arrive in a more presentable gifting box. However, name-branding aside, these are lovely glasses and I find them to be a solid addition to any home bar.

Absolutely beautiful glasses. The heavy weight makes them a pleasure to use, very sturdy feel. The pattern is so pretty and I can’r see any seams in the glass. I’ve never found such a style with a heavy bottom that wasn’t crystal. Since these are glass, I love that they can go in the dishwasher. We don’t drink too often but they’ll make any drink look beautiful. Perfect for us as whisky drinkers but we’ll be proud to pour a glass of wine into these on occasion.

Very disappointed, one of the glasses was broken.

Nice cocktail glass for wine or whiskey. Good weight to them without being heavy. Much cheaper than crystal, good for everyday use.
