Wow
I remembered my parents having these when I wa s younger, thought I’d give them a try. They’re crushing it! I am a little sad they catch everything, I’d like to let the bees live. But the number of wasps and flies is disgusting in a satisfying way. It comes with two traps and recipes to make the bait. Recipes were super helpful because if I didn’t have something on one i would have everything for a different recipe. I’m assuming they’re going to be a little gross to clean out, but I’m planning to just wear gloves and dump it in a grocery bag. Also the one that get some sunlight has caught more than the one fully in the shade. I’m assuming the batch was smellier in the Sun and that attracted more. Debating just having the one up and switching it out to give all the bugs time to die before dumping it.

Traps hundreds of yellow jackets
I have 5 hummingbird feeders out and more hummers than you would believe. I'm feeding a gallon a day of sugar water this time of year. And you know who else likes sweet drinks? Yes, those nasty yellow jackets who harass the hummingbirds. I made my own recipe which may account for the huge amount of yellow jackets that I have trapped. Each day I have to empty the trap and refill. I mixed (no measurements) Sol Mexican Beer, Red Rock ginger ale, organic apple cider vinegar, and (I think this is the magic ingredient) organic maple syrup from Canada. The yellow jackets are fighting to get in even while I'm refilling. I like that I don't have to untie the trap from the branch- just unscrew the top part and refill. So easy. I dump out the dead wasps along with some flies in the yard. I am thinking about buying some more to put in the back of my house near where I like to sit on the deck in the morning. The traps look nice and obviously work well.

7/23/23 Awesome
I have at least 7 hummingbird feeders around my yard. The feeders were attracting a lot of wasps and yellow jackets. The wasps seemed like they were taking over. I bought these traps, and got a cue tip and put nectar inside the holes. I added orange juice and nectar inside the trap. I put them next to two of my hummingbird feeders. The next morning I caught 4 wasps and 3 yellow jackets. So, they do work and my hummingbirds have their feeders back. The hummingbirds were not bothered by these traps. They work better if you put them where the wasps/jackets are already feeding.

Works really well but not for really large wasps (tarantula hawks)
Two days ago, I put up two traps to help with my infestation of Tarantula Hawk wasps. The traps certainly do attract them, and few get inside, but the holes are too small for larger, mature TH wasps. It does catch lots of flies of all sorts. I may drill out the openings a bit and see if I can get them to work for my purpose. I am not sure if bees have been caught or not. I'll quit using the traps if I find bees in the discarded juice.

AWESOME!!
We have been invaded by yellow jackets and we needed some way to help control them. These traps are doing a fantastic job at catching the flying terrors! There are several (non- chemical pesticide) recipes listed that can be mixed together and used in the trap. We have used a combo of sugar dissolved in apple juice and white vinegar. For several weeks now, the yellow jackets have been getting trapped at a fast rate! Considering buying another set because they are working so well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A Must Buy
I don’t typically write reviews but the results after using for less than a week are insane. It has attracted flies, very large wasps, ants (not a bad thing for my household) and pretty much every other type of flying bug. Cleaning it out may be fairly gross but I’ll take that over a bug infested screened in porch (yes, I also use great pest control services). I LOVE this product and recommend it. Do know, that you will need to create “solution” but most items are typical household kitchen ingredients.

Well made, good size.
It's well made it seems to be resistant to hold a good amount of wasps, it's pleasing to look at. The only thing I'm concern is the holes that let in the wasps maybe a little to big and they can come out like they went in. I just set them outside hopefully I'm wrong and the wasps can stay inside.

Works Like a Charm
Works Great, sure beats chasing them around the house all the time with wasp spray. Black Wasps, Yellow Jackets, Paper Wasps, you name it, it works on them all. Trick is in using the proper bait mixture. I used a slight variation of one of the bait recipes supplied with the product. I'll probably be picking up a few more to place around my trucks and other buildings.
