Material is ok but the sticky pads with hooks attached are absolutely useless they dont stick to anything! Ended up using small Screw hooks from B&Q to put it up.

Made well enough, material good, except for the hooks which are useless.I certainly wouldn't trust it to keep a child or a dog safely in a room. Definately don't use at the top of the stairs. I repurposed it and used it as a fly deterrent on the window, it certainly works for that if your window happens to be the right size. I really should have returned it but I couldn't be bothered.

Quality not great

This Mesh Dog Gate Set may seem promising on paper, but it is sorely lacking in practice. First off, this product is a nightmare for high-traffic areas. We installed it at our staircase, expecting easy installation and use as suggested by the description, but it turned out to be a colossal chore. Raising and lowering it is far from the hassle-free experience advertised.The storage and handling are equally problematic. Despite its “lightweight and portable” claims, the gate doesn’t store well, and handling it is cumbersome.The product images are also quite misleading. Despite clearly showing the hooks on painted walls, the instructions contradict this by stating the hooks aren’t suitable for painted walls. This left us unsure about the longevity of the product, as we struggled to find suitable non-painted areas to attach the hooks.In essence, this dog gate set is the epitome of impracticality. There are undoubtedly other, more user-friendly and robust alternatives on the market. We cannot recommend this product for its lack of versatility and inconsistent information. Save your money and your sanity - look elsewhere.

It ok but a little fiddly and annoying

This has been a total waste of money, it isn't worth buying, it's unfair to sell useless products to us. The thin rod or whatever it is, was bent before it got to me, there isn't any positive thing to say about the mesh stair gate. I wish I had given that money I used for the purchase to someone in need or used it at the chips shop. We can only hope products are good as indicated by sellers, they should stop selling horrible products to us, it's so unfair. To rub salt on my injury, you now sent a letter to me requesting I give a 5 star review for a £10 voucher, I don't need a voucher, all I need is that you don't sell bad products to us; that means you know the product isn't good, I'm not going to deceive people to buy it. I will remember how I wasted my hard earned money on the product for a long time

VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! We bought this product to keep dog away from New born baby and unfortunately there is no way to adjust width of item and is pretty useless if you do not have big spaces either side of narrow doors. Also stitching was coming apart after only a couple of minutes of testing the Velcro strip.We have a very old house and walls are not square so cant use normal metal gates so thought this would be a good option but now will go for a retractable option even though is double the price.... Don't waste your money unless your doors and walls are compatible......

Puppy still pulled it down
