If you are an AFOL who likes to MOC, and you need technic pieces (especially gears, wheels, or treads (think "undercarriage"...if it was used as part of the undercarriage of a vehicle, you will likely find it in this kit)...this is for you.If that sentence made no sense to you, this may not be for you...but if you have a child in your life that likes to Make their Own Creation (and those creations have anything to do with transportation...) you may want to consider these as a gift.Differentials, double-bevel gears, bevel gears, clutches, tires, shock absorbers, beam connectors, axles...the picture is accurate, but honestly, I don't think it quite does justice to the scope of the number of pieces you get.I recently was putting together a kit that wound up with a missing piece (hey, it happens...). Rather than having to wait for a replacement, I just went into my supply, pulled the missing piece from one of the parts in this kit, and finished the build. When the missing piece finally arrived, I just dropped it back in my supply.Note that this is *not* a complete kit in itself, and there are no instructions with it, you'll have to figure out how to put the differentials together yourself (and there's 4 different styles of differential in this kit...). There are websites that can help you indentify the part, and what kits use a given part, and from there you can find how it was used in a given kit; if you aren't currently familiar with those sites, you *will* be once you figure all these parts out...Overall, highly recommended it you build - or want to build - custom creations with gears, tank treads, or wheels

These are a collection of technic compatible parts at a bargain price.This came packaged in a box including 10 total bags, which were really 5 sets of two bags. In addition to that, there is one pull-back motor. See the picture with the opened parts.One of my bags contained a single malformed small gear (undershoot on the injection molding). See picture. That’s a shame, but it doesn’t take away from the bargain price of the set.All of the parts work and fit exactly as they should. The pull-back motor works fine, but it’s only so useful. There are lots of small gears, but I would have preferred more pins.

I ordered these for my teen daughter, who spends a significant amount of her time playing with bricks. She really enjoys this set which contains mixed bags of gears, connectors, wheels, etc. She is especially thrilled with the pull-back mechanism, which will allow her to experiment with adding motion to her creations. Adding a few small motors and a set of classic bricks will allow my daughter to create all kinds of animatronic sculptures. All the parts in this set are high-quality and fit together well with each other and with the major brand. I was surprised to see that the bags look almost identical to those of the major brand only they came in an unlabeled, cardboard box instead of a specific set. Once they're open, it's almost impossible to discern which is the main brand and which is the off brand. I would recommend these to anyone who likes to tinker with Technic.

If you are familiar with Lego’s Technics line then you know that you can’t expect to build much using solely what is included in this set. This is more like purchasing a portion of an entire parts department. Need gears for Technics? Then this is your set.These parts are completely compatible with Lego’s Technics ecosystem.Lego’s reputation is well deserved and their boxes are pretty, but you pay a real premium for it. SEEMY’s products are made of the same material and from everything I can see, they are made to the same exacting standards as Lego. SEEMY’s products are FAR less expensive, though. What’s the downside? No pretty box. In fact, SEEMY has almost the worst marketing I have ever seen.Unfortunately for everyone, the photos presented by the seller don’t do justice to the quality of the parts. If not for so many glowing reviews I would never have ordered this set!Your high-quality parts will arrive in an unassuming, plain, brown, cardboard box with a small black and white sticker denoting the which set this is.What the seller did right in their photos was to show exactly the types of parts you will get, the exact number of each kind, and a clue about what colour each will be. The red and the copper colours are correct but the black is more black (it’s really black), the yellow is richer, and the blue more beautiful.This set includes the following: Gears More gears Gears that look different than the other gears Worm gears Gear racks Three-way connecters Beams Pins Hooks Axels More gears Wheels Rubber tires Steering wheels Tracks Little gears Differential gear casings Pulleys Cogsand one pull-back motorand more.While they are still sorted, I’d put them into whatever sorting/storage solution you have before they end up being 851 pieces to sort through to find that one piece! This is a nice well-made basic set with a limited selection of items. However, if you are looking for a more specific part this assortment may not have what you need. Otherwise, what is included will be limiting for many users in their designs. Generally, I would categorize this set to be more wheel and differential based as that is the large majority of parts. Overall, meant more for that area and not structurally.This is not a name brand product, though the quality is 95% of the name brand from my estimate so I can also justify the purchase. One thing to know is the pricing point is just slightly below $0.10 per piece, which for some people is the deciding factor if this is economical or not. I would prefer it to be lower than this indicator for an off-brand purchase and much more compelling for me as a buy if it was.Pros:- Good quality in comparison to name brand product- Fit is tight and not much different than expected- No warping or flash lines- Amazon backing and local shipping, not overseasCons:- Price point is slightly high for what you receive- Additional more specific type assortments would be nice- More centric to differential and power splittingConclusion:This is a good set with many parts that will be duplicate for some users. The overall fit, finish and quality is very high, however for the pricing point there needs to be additional parts added or more unique non-standard parts substituted. In our household, the love for Legos runs deep. We’re talking tens of thousands of bricks deep. Yet, in the land of Lego, the mantra is clear - there’s no such thing as ‘too many’.Recently, we expanded our collection with these reasonably priced technic parts. The unassuming brown box they arrived in did little to betray the treasure within. On opening the box, we found a neat organization of parts in sealed plastic bags. So far, so good.Our past explorations into the realm of "Lego-compatible bricks" have been less than triumphant. We even have a nickname for these underwhelming alternatives - “cheapy Legos”. Initially greeted with delight, these knock-offs have often found themselves shunned, stored separately and more likely to face the bin if found out of place.But these newcomers are a breed apart. Their quality is stunning.As we were opening the packs, my son presented me with a challenge - an official Lego technic piece and a similar gear from our new set. The task? Identify the genuine Lego. To my amazement, I singled out the newbie as the “real” Lego. A closer inspection only affirmed it - these bricks are masterfully crafted.The plastic is flawlessly finished, devoid of any excess from the molding process. I'm surprised to say this but these bricks hold their own against the official Legos in terms of quality.For those contemplating a purchase, bear in mind that while they’re a fantastic addition to any set, you’ll need more than what’s in the box to build complete structures. But if you’re already a Lego aficionado, you know the drill.These are well made, well priced and would be a fantastic addition to any builder's collection.

This set of blocks and other components comes in a relatively small box, containing just under 600 pieces. What they translates to is the components in the set are quite small, too. You don't get an assortment of blocks in this package, but a set of gears, wheels, and various other bits that build on top of Lego structures to add functionality. It's quite interesting just what you can build with this set; kids will see their imagination tested quite nicely. One problem is that due to the small size of the components, they will get "lost" only to be stepped on later! Still, a nice extension to a Lego collection at a reasonable price for what you get.

Who doesn’t love creating? I like to keep some games and toys in my house for when friends and family visit with their children. Lego has always gone over well. I heard a friend’s son talking about the Lego Technics pieces that they had at home and what they were able to create with it. I decided to give my collection a boost for the next time they were here. I found Seemy’s 580 piece technics parts kit which is compatible with Lego. That friend’s son was so thrilled the next time he visited. Each time he created something, he ran through to show me. He even asked his mom if they could get the same kit as I had for their home. Not 100% sure but that young boy may be getting a wonderful surprise come his birthday.If you want quality “technics” parts at a reasonable cost but with a lot of variety, then this Seemy 580 piece set is a good idea. All the kids that I’ve seen playing with the parts so far have enjoyed doing so. If you have a little one (or even an older one) who enjoys creating with Lego then I would recommend this Seemy parts kit to expand their horizons.
