Wolfbox 910 Review
The media could not be loaded. Wolfbox 910First I’d like to start off by saying Wolfbox’s Customer Support Team is amazing. No issues, just simply reached out to them for general set up questions. They’re quick, helpful and informative so don’t hesitate to reach if you need any assistance or just to make sure you don’t install anything incorrectly if you’re installing it yourself. This is my first dash cam ever installed on my 2017 Toyota Camry and I’m quite impressed with all the available features.Installation process for me was actually fairly straight forward. I highly recommend reading the entire user manual and watching a few videos to prep yourself before assembling everything. The device straps on to your existing rear view mirror of your car so no need to remove it, that part was super simple. The more important part is being careful on how you secure the wiring to hook everything together as advised from the instructions. A snake tool is provided so it makes it very easy to tuck the wires inside the vehicle and there’s plenty of wire length that should be sufficient for most cars.Onto the cool stuff:The device turns on automatically as soon as you turn on the engine and starts auto recording. The LCD screen has 3 different views: Front Facing, Split View (Front & Back), and Rear View. Any of the three views can be switched simply by swiping left or right. The other thing I really appreciated is that you can also swipe up or down to adjust the camera view. The camera quality is actually really solid. A few friends commented on how surprised they were about the video resolution during the day and night time. The touchscreen automatically displays to rear view camera once you’re in reverse and it provides AI detection which is a really nice to have if your current car doesn’t offer any parking assistance or sensors. The AI feature will display a Redbox around a subject if it detects getting close to your car which alerts you by sounds that can be set to low, medium and high. The device also has features to support parking monitoring, which means that the front/rear cameras can self record for anything that might occur while you’re away from the vehicle. (This does require purchasing an additional hardware kit). The only thing to get used to, is not using the actual rear view mirror in your car anymore kind of like getting used to the home button on the iPhone when it was first removed but it honestly goes unnoticed since you get a wider and clearer image from the rear camera, which is my personal view preference when I’m driving.Overall it’s a great well built/designed product for the price. Everything within the touchscreen is very user-friendly so navigating through the Settings is quite simple.

Early Impressions of the Wolfbox G910: A High-Tech Car Accessory
I recently started using the Wolfbox G910 Rearview Mirror Camera. Although it's still early days, I'm quite impressed. The device comes with front and rear cameras that provide high-definition clarity - 1296P and 1080P, respectively. The large touchscreen is easy to use (10"), and the wide-angle lenses mean you don't have to worry about missing anything.A notable feature is the AI pedestrian detection, which alerts you if there are people behind your vehicle when you reverse. This is especially useful in busy urban environments. But the problem is that you need to connect the reverse camera to the reverse signal indicator. The device also offers great night vision capability for crisp images in the dark (you need to install the reverse camera outside), and an integrated GPS that records your route and driving speed. In addition, it continues to record and saves crucial moments, such as if a sudden impact occurs. The camera automatically switches to the rear view when reversing, and even provides guidance for easier parking. Please note that you will need an additional kit to activate the parking monitor function. The package includes a free 32 GB memory card (expandable), a one-year warranty and excellent customer service. All in all, the Wolfbox G910 so far seems to be a valuable gadget for any driver, packed with useful functions. It ensures safer and more informed driving - drive safely, everyone!

Meh! I have to like it or take the time to uninstall it. Gonna keep it.
Wolfbox G910Overall I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Not sure I’d buy an exact unit for my second car as I’d rather see what others manufactures offer with features and usability.Once you buy and install it, you best get used to it. Taking it out would be a royal PITA!Pros:1. Clear crisp image, has some interesting features, GPS which also gives speed and direction. AI alerts for backing up if something enters the area. Nice if you don’t want to hit anybody.2. Overall the backup feature helps to see what’s behind but has many limitations.3. Somewhat easy to install, take your time, it should get installed easily. Took me a few hours but I had to disassemble the rear hatch.4. Tip, tilt the mirror downward to help avoid any distracting reflections while driving.Cons:1. The rear view has a rather wide angle lens. Use caution as the car to either side is MUCH closer that it appears. Changing lanes needs a bit of caution as if you move just because you “see” the other car, it’s gonna get you a honk or an accident.2. The back up assist lines are a JOKE, Wolfbox allows modification of the lines but don’t bother. The backup lines do nothing but appear in the general area you may hit in about 30-50 feet back.3. Using the backup camera is also a JOKE. The camera is generally useful, it can not show details typical backup cameras do. Specifically the bumper or anything closer than 3 feet behind the car. The camera can be positioned in a more downward angle, but doing so eliminates any rear view when the car is driving forward.4. Using as a typical rear view mirror FAILS. Reflections behind are barely visible through the extreme reflections from daylight.5. Select -mirror only or -camera display only. Switching between both is visually frustrating with all the reflections. Tip - when using the camera, tilt the screen downward to avoid reflections.Overall, the unit seems stable and reliable. Many sales features are useless due to the poor down angle of the rear camera.
