How long does this last for?

Depends on the frequency of use, like do they have band daily/twice a week, do they practice daily. Are they prone to be sick. I bought my daughter a bottle when she started 5th grade band and we are nearing the end of 6th grade and we still have some left in bottle. But she doesn’t spray it every time she uses her flute but I make her use more during flu season.

Is this safe to use on silver flutes?

I see no reason why not. Just keep it to the mouthpiece area as it is not really designed as a cleaner for the entire instrument.

Would this be good for a ceramic ocarina? What about a wood ocarina?

Mi-t-mist dries fast so I would assume that it would work on both.
