Good gloves
These are good gloves, they are warm and seem waterproof. They are however a bit thicker than I was expecting but not enough to be a problem.

Warm gloves with one big downside
These are lovely warm gloves, great in the coldest conditions in the UK - snow on Ben Nevis and Snowdon and my hand were nice and toasty. The downside is once your hands get a bit damp they are quite difficult to get on and off. I've had a situation where the lining pulled out of the fingers and I couldn't get my hands back in without over an hour of fiddling. Even if you don't pull the lining out they are still difficult to put on with damp hands. I'd probably buy something different in the future.

Even better than the original
Just as warm as waterproof as the original. Though now can use a mobile phone, Garmin or iPod and similar items with the gloves on. I even have worn a pair of glove liners that are also compatible and could still operate my phone through both pairs.
