Good near field speakers that need a little set up to get the best from them.
Great little near field speakers. Really enjoy these little things, I have them set on stands to bring them level with my ears while I use my PC (on the desk they sounded a little muddy, but still pretty good). I needed to get the distance and positioning "just so" but it was worth the effort. Had them for a while now paired with the Fiio R7 player/amp (both in white) and they sound very nice and detailed once I had the tweeters up around ear height. Can't fault them, they look good, and a solidly built with "bigger" sound than they look capable off, but as already mentioned they are for near field, I.e. they ain't gonna fill a room with lush images as you listen. At my desk I have them set well so I get great imaging from them. The seller was great too, Advanced MP3 players got the order to me quickly, although for some reason I can no longer access their site directly and it has stopped me ordering from them for other gear as I wanted to go direct.

Son décevant
Ce sont de jolies enceintes, bien fabriquées, avec un très beau packaging, et beaucoup d'accessoire. La possibilité d'inverser la stéréo est pratique pour le placement (on peut mettre l'enceinte maître à gauche ou à droite). Mais le son est mauvais. Je les ai prises pour les brancher sur un piano numérique, dont les haut-parleurs de base sont très basiques et bas de gamme (ce qui est courant). Le son est rond, trop rond... avec des basses fortes, floues, baveuses, envahissantes, et une sonorité "boite en plastique". J'ai tout essayé: réduire les basses et augmenter la brillance dans les réglages du piano, baisser les basses au maximum sur le potentiomètre des enceintes, mettre des bouchons d'évents, les poser sur un socle avec pointes de découplage... Rien à faire, le son des haut-parleurs de base du piano restent toujours bien meilleur. Je les ai retournées.
