These little lights last much longer than it says they do.

The 15 piece AFOOSOO Hanging LED Paper Lantern Lights arrived promptly and were just as described online. I chose these individual lights to illuminate my paper lanterns at our next family celebration. They are far superior to lights on a string since they can be used with lanterns scattered widely about in a party room. String lights only work when the lanterns are bunched up together in an unattractive tight pack that is the exact same length as the string. Other nice features are:Pros:* Easy on/easy off by pulling the plastic tab at the bottom. This is a simple a straightforward solution to lighting your hanging paper lanterns and will look great! However, the lights are impossible to open without breaking them, so once the batteries die, that's it. You just have to throw them away, and they cannot be recycled since they have batteries inside. However, for the price, it's a good last minute or short term solution!

*I received this item for free but the opinions and thoughts are my own*Let's be real clear up front - even though the listing shows lots of paper lanterns YOU ARE GETTING THE LIGHTS ONLY so don't be upset when you don't have anything to put them in. Now that we got THAT out of the way...These are pretty good for what they are. The light is kind of yellow-ish but that's what's going to give you that firelike glow you want in a lantern. You CAN turn them off and back on by pulling out (to turn on) or pushing in (to turn off) the clear plastic tab the string is hanging from. I think you might destroy it trying to take it apart but if you can figure out how you can probably replace the battery once they die. It's probably not worth the hassle though so keep that in mind that these are most likely for a single event, MAYBE two if they are short events and you turn the lights off asap.

These lights are fantastic if you like hanging lanterns or are going to have an event or party! There are no workarounds or limitations anymore, you can hang the lights anywhere you want! You turn the lights on by pulling the clear plastic tab out and turn them off by pushing it back in. The plastic tab is thin and flexible so I do not expect these will last forever, but I haven't had problems so far and don't foresee anything soon. I'm just so thrilled to be able to hang the lanterns I make anywhere I want!

These are adorable, and fit right into some assorted lanterns I want to hang. Easy on/off by tugging the attached string, and the light is a soothing soft white that's perfect for a paper lanterns. Such a cozy feel when these are lit.

Even though the picture of the product has the paper lanterns, it's JUST the lights. You have to order the paper lanterns seperately.

These add a touch of light to make party decorations festive. They are easy to put inside paper lanterns (you can get them from Amazon too). You can use it for several parties since it is supposed to have 36 hours of light. You can also light up a porch on weekends for a romantic or festive mood. I have only used one light, but others have suggested using two lights per lantern for a brighter look. Easy to turn on and off once you figure it out. I don't see how you can change the battery, though. But the cost is so low, I will order more when needed.
