They are definitely tight, but not unbearable and I figure they will stretch with time (I am 5'9" and I have long fingers and good size hand (not tiny or small). It's not the finger part that is tight, it's the mitten flap part. Also, with my long fingers, the thumb fits perfectly (some ppl showed pics where the thumb was huge for them).
