I bought this window AC windshield kit to help seal around my air conditioner, and it made a huge difference. It keeps the cold air inside and blocks out drafts and bugs. The material feels sturdy but easy to adjust, and installation only took a few minutes. It also gives the setup a much cleaner look. Definitely worth it if you have a window unit and want to save on energy.

Bought this even though some reviews were bad. Glad I ordered it. The plastic sheet comes in a roll and will want to curl up if assembled incorrectly. You want to place the sheet on a flat surface like a dinner table with the curling face down. Then while pressing it down, place the foam sheet on top. It doesn't glue on, just place it on top. Then connect the curved plastic pieces as shown on the video or as shown on the written instructions provided. Placed it on my AC and it works as intended. One of the simplest products I've bought. It's a little flimsy and light weight. Be careful not to bump into it after installation. Concerns of it breaking are warranted. So just be careful around it. Overall, It functions and gets the job done. Took 20 minutes to assemble and about 2 to 5 minutes to stick and adjust on the window AC. Glad I bought it.

Came in a box that was smaller than my shoe - not expecting that. It's very flimsy plastic that has been rolled up and cannot hold its shape. The instructions make no sense- I think there's a translation issue. And it kept collapsing. The arms are not strong enough to hold the visor up. I was also missing adhesive for the water proof thing. This is actual garbage. 🤦‍♀️

This product really works good

It definitely works. It just feels cheap and flimsy for the price. I feel it’s a $5 product at most. You assemble it but it’s simple and comes with a tool. Directions say to adhere foam to plastic but you can actually just slide it under the arms instead.

My AC has to be right next to my bed due to the window placement in the apartment. I needed something to divert the air up and over my bed and this did the trick. One review mentions the condensation and I think they've fixed this problem by adding a thin piece of foam. You need to put this foam on the plastic sheet (just lay it on, there's no way to affix it) BEFORE putting the plastic arms on. Keep the Allen wrench so you can adjust the screws if they get loose or too tight. Yes, the instructions aren't terribly clear, but if you're halfway decent with DIY you can just look at the pictures and the included pieces and figure it out. I wanted to write a decent review because I was desperate for something like this and almost resorted to making something myself, but this was perfect!

I hated that my bed was higher than the window AC and it really wouldn’t cool down my bedroom. The AC was useless, so I had to use a large plastic bin tub LID and prop it up to make the air flow up. Then my cat would always knock it down. Doing this blocked the whole side of the bed, so I couldn’t walk on that side. Then I found this! I’ve never seen or heard of this before! I was very hesitant in purchasing because i wasn’t sure it would work and it looked super cheap and flimsy. Plus I didn’t think it was worth paying almost $20 for it. But this was the best $20 I’ve spent on Amazon in a really long time! It does exactly what I’ve always wanted for years and didn’t know that this even existed! This shield reflects all the cold air up and over my bed now. The room FINALLY feels like I have AC!! It’s amazing! It doesn’t block the aisle anymore and it’s held up with my cat jumping near it and knocking it down. I would definitely buy it again it it ever breaks!! It’s a must have!!

Questionable at first, but not bad once installed. Use a little double stick tape to hold foam in place. Once plastic ribs are in, they will gold foam securely. Follow directions for the screws and nuts or you won't be able to get them out. The picture on Amazon is better to follow than the one they provide.
