I’ve been using the BraceUP Thumb Support Brace and it’s been really helpful for stabilising my thumb during flare‑ups and repetitive tasks. Strong level of support on outer thumb and wrist. Helping the tendon after repetitive strain from carrying baby. Easy to put on yourself and adjusts well to fit many sizes. Has a slight sharp spot on part between thumb and finger but may be a one off rather than design flaw. Hand still has good movement while wrist is supported.

I've been using this thumb brace for the past couple of weeks after dislocating my thumb and fracturing the bone at the base of the thumb that also damaged the ligaments/tendons so very sore and vulnerable all around that area. The brace has provided excellent support and protection by immobilising the thumb with the two solid splints that hold it in place and prevent it from bending in any direction, thus minimising the chances of further damage or pain. I've been able to continue playing football with it on, that's how great the protection is. No way would I risk it without the brace. A wondefully designed reversible fit means the brace can be used on both left or right hand and the velcro straps allow for a fully customisable fit. I have fairly small hands but the fit is excellent. If you have large hands, the fit will be just as good as you simply adjust the straps accordingly. The velcro is the newer, light sticking type that is very easy to stick on and off without any effort but effectively stays in place. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods and I'm glad I bought this one as there's quite a choice of different braces on Amazon. I can comfortably use my computer/mouse and even drive whilst wearing it. The material is breathable and of a good quality I highly recommend this for a dislocated thumb or any other type of thumb injury where you need protection for the thumb and/or the base of the thumb and/or palm all the way down to the wrist. So far, I've not noticed any negatives in the two weeks I've been wearing it.

Worked very well to rehab my hand/wrist

I suffer with arthritis and carpel tunnel. Upon waking this morning I had severe wrist pain. I put on the support and have had it on most of the day apart from a few breaks. (If you are a regular user you will understand that these supports in themselves can become painful!) The two bottom straps are fabulous 👌 very strong and adjustable. So wrist support was great! Although it's not advertised for that. I am disappointed with the strap around the thumb. It is obviously much thinner in width than the wrist ones and seems to come loose constantly. The velcro isn't strong enough to hold. The thumb splints are great and it felt good this morning when I first put it on however as it it is a 'thumb brace' it makes you think the thumb will be unable to move but the strap is poor around that area and I could only give 3 stars. It does not keep the thumb from moving after around 5 hours of use

The support has brought instant relief. It has not taken the pain away but you do feel the difference. It’s good quality, comfortable, easy to put on and can be hand washed if you need to. Great value for money overall. Would definitely buy again.

As expected, it really stabilises the thumb joint. A bit hard to do all daily activities but that's the point of wearing a brace... to rest the joint. The brace is well made and comfortable to wear.
