In order to adapt your PC's cooling performance and volume development to your requirements and needs, this control offers direct access via 4 channels. Lamptron has chosen a classic layout with control dials. These are set out on a solid black aluminium board of 5.25 " / 13.33 cm and are designed specially for the respective slots. According to the manufacturer, all 4 channels have a maximum capacity of 30 W. The adjustment via control dials offers a range from 0 to 12 V. The 4 temperature sensors, which can be placed anywhere you need them, will help you keep an eye on the heat output in order to choose the ideal speed of rotation. The sensors are mounted on extra long cables.

Cool Runnings
Very pleased with it. Got fed up with my motherboard’s poor built in fan control. It ran system fans far too high and loud for the situation. And for goodness sake never use Gigabyte’s Easytune 6. I think I am going to have to wipe my system because of the horrible mess that program has made of my PC even after uninstallation AND system restore. Anyhow…I could not find stock of the V3 anywhere, but I do not need 6 channels anyway. Now I am back in control of my case fans. The controller is well made, has a very nice aluminium finish that doesn’t show fingerprints, and the dials feel of high quality and have a nice smooth action to them. The option to change the backlight colour to match my blue system fans, and blue Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce logo, and blue Corsair H80i means it is a perfect fit for my case. Viewing angles are excellent. Do not worry if you have your case on the floor. You’ll still see the display. Can confirm included cables are the revised black sleeved versions, unlike the unsightly bare ones supplied at first launch of this product.I am just using the voltage and RPM display options as I did not want to run temp probes all over the place. I have done some quick trial an error tweaking with stress-testing benchmarks to learn what settings I need for general desktop Windows use, and gaming / video editing. Just two scenarios. It takes a second to switch between them, and now my case is much quieter under load than when relying on motherboard or software utilities. CPU and GPU temps do not exceed 55 C.Used in conjunction with;2 x Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition (front and rear intake)1 x Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition (bottom intake)Corsair 230T CaseAll these fans will turn at down to 4V which makes nigh-on completely silent and still provide enough air flow to keep things cool for general Windows 7 mooching about. The only fan still auto-controlled by software is my H80i radiator fan. I have left this in the hands of Corsair Link software, as I like the hardware monitoring and profiles to max RPM if it detects 95C CPU temp, or shutdown my PC on water pump failure.Would recommend this fan controller. Wish I’d got it ages ago.

Great Product with a really minor con, Get This Fan Controller
PROs:-It took only 2days to get to the UK from Denmark via UPS-Cheapest place to buy it as it was only around £38 with delivery charge-comes with heat sensors-Love the choice of colours, can now turn my fans down when not gaming and turn some off with this Fan controller unlike others on the marketeasy to install, i did install it wrong at first with my front panel off and i was able to put the cover back on so it can be easily hidden if your worried about kids or anyone messing with it, (my case is a NZXT S530) so i am not sure if other case will do this but im sure you will be able to.-wires are nicely sleeved, also with fan splitters you can attach 8 fans- Runs either by temp or volts-Only Con: Is the heat shrink can slide up and down on the wires but it is not a big problem and you cant see it when installed.ALSO NOTE: the colours are better looking in person than on the photo

Customer Service issues
Lamptron are pretty cool, in terms of the products they make. However, I've previously contacted Lamptron through email on many occasions (They don't seem to have a phone number), and explained how my product arrived broken and defective, one of the four pins that is used to connect the laptron controller to my motherboard + PSU was broken which meant that when the device moved just ever so slightly the whole thing would shut down.I contacted them many times to issue a replacement or a fix, while I still had it during the 14 day period and never once got a reply.Wouldn't recommend the producted based purely on customer service experience. Other than that, it's an ok product, but there are digital fan controllers on the market that can perform a lot better and much more precicely.

Quality Product
After poring over pages of reviews and watching Youtube videos I eventually decided this was the ideal fan controller for my new rig. It isn't cheap by any means but straight out of the box it screams quality. It is very solidly built out of thick alloy and with an anodised black finish. As well as being able to control 4 fans and monitor temperatures you can control the display colour, a unique selling point if you wish it to blend in with your overall colour scheme. Unlike many controllers all cables are black sleeved and are "modular" so you only connect the ones you want. The sole "con" I have noticed so far is that the included Molex power cable is relatively short at 8 inches and isn't a very good fit to the socket - it could work loose if you are not careful.Other than that this is a great piece of kit!
