This is an excellent appliance. It is compact, fits nicely on the counter next to the coffee pot. The ice is perfect, crunchy little nuggets and it makes them quickly. I'm not sure if people are getting buggy versions or extremely quiet houses when they talk about the noise but the one we got is whisper quiet, the sound of the ice nuggets clinking into the little basket is louder than the working machine.

Have had this a few months and yes the tank is a bit small it works great. I bought a more expensive one and it broke within 2 days. This one was half the price and works 1000 times better. I do wish they made a larger tank though. Ice does become slushie after a few hours but water drains to produce more ice. I really like the length of the cord to it’s very long.

Nice ice maker. Basket is kinda small - would like greater capacity. I’ve is great and does make it quickly. Would also like a larger water reservoir.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far.Pros:a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job!b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!)c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour.d) Very compact and pretty light.e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother.f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste!g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away.Cons:I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell.Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice.The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price.Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah.I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week.So far, this is a great buy!!

If you like ice either in a drink or just to chew than this device is for you! It's a simple machine that produces a small 3/8" ice cube that is very consistent in size and softness. The ice is small and soft and presents no threat to your teeth, if you like to chew your ice with a drink.The machine takes about 8 oz. of tap water to produce a container about 4" x 6" x 3" of great ice. The extremely quiet machine takes about six minutes to start producing a small tub of ice and additional 15 minutes to run about six pieces at a time as they drop into the tub automatically. Then, take the container out of the machine and scoop (provided) some soft delicious ice into a container or glass.Cleaning the device is fairly simple. Just add a teaspoon of vinegar to about 8 ounces of water that you pour normally into the machine for a batch of ice. Then, push the button and hold it in for a few seconds. The device makes a tainted container of ice that you dispose of. It takes about 15 minutesall automatic. After that, simply put the machine over the sink and pull the drain plug while running water to flush it out. It clears calcium build up and any other debris from the machine. You need to do this weekly if you make a lot of ice. Easy job that cleans and does not leave any taste of vinegar.This great machine is worth every penny of the $200 it costs! I highly recommend it!

Bets little dam ice maker I have had -- perfect nuggets, chewable and I know I should not, but I do it anyway!! Works fast and not very loud. Small water basin but does not bother me as I just fill it up from time to time during the day when I am making ice - I store bags if it in the freezer, so I always have a supply. Got it on sales so not sure what the price was but great value for me.

The media could not be loaded. 3 stars for the nugget ice and how quick it makes it but deducted 2 stars for the noise. I looked at the reviews before buying and I did see it was noisy so it’s half my fault for going through with it..however good lord it’s so loud I’m starting to regret my decision. At least for the 2-3 min every Ice cycle that it makes this noise lol Overall if you’re on a budget it’s a great nugget maker, but probably not worth the literal headache it gives you. Maybe I’ll just chew more ice so all I hear is my crunching 😂

Very nice. Not cheaply made. Very sturdy and in great shape for refurbished. Basically brand new. Been wanting ice make with the Dairy Queen Zaby’s ice for years. Finally got it.Price was very good tooMakes ice quick and it’s exactly like Dairy Queen or zaxbys ice.
