This lid (140 ounce) fits a 1 gallon container perfectly, and doesn't leak when you dispense thin stain thru it. You have to make sure you press down and compress the spring before rotating the lid locks, but once they are all properly secured, the lid does not leak. The mixer does a fine job mixing the contents of the can and you get nice consistent liquid out. The only down side of the mixer is the handle tends to fall off while mixing. It's not a big deal with the thin stain I used, as I could still turn the mixer just by the stubs. With a thicker paint you may need to tape the handle on to keep it from coming off every few turns. The spout seals up really well and pours perfectly. Cleanup is pretty easy.I purchased this when I decided to re-stain my fence. The stain I use is a very thin, oil based stain and the tint tends to settle to the bottom of the can. You have to remix it every time you add more stain to the spray gun container so the tint is consistent. This lid/mixer combo was perfect for me. Was able to keep keep the stain mixed and pouring into the sprayer container simple, with no mess or drips. Well worth the money.

This device makes mixing a gallon of paint and dispensing it into an airless sprayer cup so much easier than dealing with other stuff on the market. No leaks whatsoever now the handle that thing is terrible and falls off about every 5 to 10 cranks.

Overall the item is performing like it should however the knob that attached to the top to stir and mix the can by hand sucks. I’ll get about five turns then it will slip out and needs my other hand to assist and hold the top while stirring. If it was a way to fasten the knob to the top with a wing nut or some form of attachment it will be five stars. Overall I use it to pour my 2k primer. It’s so much easier and not as messy.

Good quality. Plastic handle and hinge mechanism. I could see the handle breaking if dropped attached to a full gallon of material, but if you do that, you'll have much bigger problems to clean up. ;)

This product works perfectly for one gallon paint cans, especially if you need to store unused partial gallons, the mixer is a definite plus, and it seals like a charm.

Overall makes painting little more bearable. Can stir paint without making a mess or wasting a stir stick. The pour feature is a added plus. Only pitfall is stir handle won't stay put while your trying to stir paint.i figured out how to work with it.

The unit seems reasonably made. I haven’t used it yet, will be using it in about two weeks.However I can absolutely confirm that the handle sucks, as mentioned in numerous reviews. Well, I’m not sure that the handle itself is bad, but it does not fit on the spinny piece it is supposed to fit on.The solution is finish drilling out the posts on the spinny piece (they are hollow) (I used an #32 drill bit) and installing two m3x25 machine screws with washers and nuts. The m3 fit the existing holes like a glove. #4 screws may work, but will likely wiggle a bit, probably won’t be an issue as the tension keeps the plastic pieces in contact.Yes it stinks that it doesn’t work out of the box, but the mod is quite easy if you have a drill and a few small bolts.

I have tried multiple times to get this thing to seal and stay on a can of paint. It just wont happen. It cannot hold up to the weight. First try and I lost a quart of paint to the floor. All following attempts ended with a similar result. Finally I just stopped using the product. It mixed the paint well but the main purpose I purchased the product was so I would not spill any paint. I cannot recommend this product.
