If there are a few stubborn ones holding on, you can pop those out with a little pressure on the back of the mold.To compare: I tried a silicone tray alongside this and getting the ice to actually come out of it was a huge pain. Twisting and flexing it every possible direction would get about half out and then the rest would have to be pushed out a piece or two at a time. Not worth the work for half a cup of ice.The accessories aren't worth much but their poor quality doesn't warrant deducting a star. This is still a great buy but the scoop is too small and shallow to be useful and the ice box is basically a cheap Tupperware knockoff. Not a big deal as the 4 trays alone are a good value and the box at least gives you a container if you don't have something already lying around. Give the scoop to your kid, it's basically a toy anyway.

I wanted lil ice cubes compared using the fridge large cubes. These cubes are tiny little squares, but they are perfect for those who like to crunch on them without hurting your teeth. I also like it for my speciality drinks as it makes them more presentable like if from high end coffee shop. The trays are plastic so its about a cup of water to fill each tray. When you remove the ice cubes wait a min or two than slightly twist and the cubes fall right out. It comes with the perfect storing compartment. My kids like the scoop that comes with it for putting the ice in there drinks. Its been a big hit with my kiddos makes drink more fun!

I purchased this for my dog instead of using it for ice cubes. She has a sensitive stomach so I use this to make pumpkin and goat milk ice cubes and add it to her meals. I love how easily stored this is in my freezer.A big con to this is that the ice tray is very fragile. You can’t twist it like a normal sized ice tray or else it will snap in half. If you also use it to store ice cubes, when you make new ones, it won’t be even. To keep the liquid even, I freeze it on top of a tray rather than inside the container.

Convenient ice tray. Set comes with holder, trays, and a scooper. The cubes are small enough to fit into my water bottles. It is very easy to clean and spill resistant so no clean up.

First of all... let me say that the rating is exclusively MY fault for screwing up... BUT... here's the deal.... the ice cube squares are REALLY small. You have to be SUPER careful when filling the trays. The liquid fill line CANNOT be above each square. I made the mistake of filling the whole unit where the liquid (in this case... lemon juice) was a solid lake... and then discovered an "ice skating rink" when I took it out of the freezer... meaning... one solid sheet of frozen lemon juice... impossible to bend out. (Possible solution: maybe use an eyedropper to put liquid in each???) As it was, I had to let the trays thaw a bit... and while that kinda-sorta allowed me to WHACK out the squares... once they froze again in the plastic container... w-e-e-e-ell... it fused together in another big glob of ice. OH! And in the process of bending and whacking (which the instructions clearly tell you NOT to do)... I broke one of the trays in half. MY BAD! Regardless... after one use... I threw 'em away. Use your own discretion. If you follow the instructions, do it CAREFULLY and CORRECTLY... this item just might be what you're looking for... ya never know.
