Best Sunscreen We've Ever Used!
Love this sunscreen! It goes on so very light and easy, before completely absorbing into the skin without even knowing you've even applied sunscreen. Never any irritation to skin or eyes. That icky white film that settles into any lines and looks/feels disgusting while collecting dirt or sand doesn't exist with this Biore sun protection, which also makes it so much nice to reapply throughout the day (as you need to do with any sunscreen). It's so light and invisible that applying and wearing makeup over top is also a dream. Can't say enough good things about this sunscreen. Not only is the only protection we use now, but we've purchased it as gifts for so many others who also now swear by it. We buy it in three-packs, so it's easily found anywhere (car, purse, etc....). Once you use this Biore sunscreen, you also wont go back to anything else!

good for sensitive skin!
No white cast and is amazing under makeup! My skin feels hydrated even in the dry/dusty climate. It does have an alcoholic smell but it goes away over time. My skin is sensitive and I didn't get any negative reaction to it at all!

I have found my everyday sunscreen!
I have combo skin more to the oily side that is acne prone. I have tried countless SPF creams under my makeup, from low cost to high end, and they all made my skin greasier or did not mixed well with the foundation and my makeup would not last without retouch. I wear makeup everyday and sunscreen is a step that should never be skipped on your skincare routine. I saw a youtube video by MUA Nikki Larose where she recommends this sunscreen for oily skin. I looked it up and saw the price was excellent and decided to try and OMG I am so glad I did. This is everything I have been looking for. It has a gel like texture that absorbs quickly without leaving any white cast or stickiness. It dries fast and moisturizes the skin. It is perfect under makeup if anything it is a great primer. It works well with my foundations and it does not breaks me out. It is perfect. I will buy it from now on!

Can’t compare to the Japanese version
It is better than American facial sunscreens but the Japanese version is better. It smells like rubbing alcohol and takes a couple minute blend into the skin. Despite the alcohol in it, it is very moisturizing and absolutely not for oily skin + hot humid weather. If I recall correctly, the Japanese version blended in much easier and did not feel so sticky. This leaves a moisturized glowy finish on me and feels sticky. My hair sticks to my face from it. Even after applying makeup. It also makes my face slightly red, so it does irritate my sensitive skin. It does not sting my eyes or get into my eyes after sweating or physical activity though. It’s an odd formulation.

Good but the older version was better
If you're black this sunscreen won't leave a white cast at all, blends quickly. It's good. But it's not as good as the Japanese version I bought before. I don't know why they changed it. The old one ACTUALLY felt like water and had a cooling effect when applied and felt light weight. This one is still light , slightly cool, but when applying feels greasier. I still think it would be good on oily skin because it doesn't dry as greasy as most sunscreen.Over all good sunscreen but the other version was better

great weightless moisturizing sunscreen for oily skin
This is an amazing sunscreen moisturizer and is basically weightless. I have oily skin so I dislike sunscreens that have too much grease and this was perfect. It is scented really beautifully and was easy to travel with.

US Formulation is still good!
I have used the Biore japanese version before and have liked it. It left some sort of white cast but not very noticeable. This one is US formulation and I thought Biore couldn't pull off the same feeling since there limited by the regulationa of FDA for sunscreen but they did it! It still has that watery feeling like you're not wearing a sunscreen. It has less UV filters than the japanese formulation for sure but it still gets the jobs done. Im ok trading off the ease of getting it and the cheaper price.

AMERICAN FORMULATION
This IS NOT THE JAPANESE FORMULATION. The Japanese formulation of this product is my holy grail sunscreen. I've loyally purchased 25+ of the Japanese tubes since 2019 on Amazon and I love the Japanese version of this so much, when I heard about the tarrifs, my first thought was to immediately stock up on this product before the next year. So you can see why I'd be furious receiving a dozen bottles of this awful American version, which is completely different (check INCIDecoder for a breakdown). The American version has several key differences. It a) uses completely different UV filters, making the sunscreen heavier and it gives skin a slight greasy white cast, b) has a significantly stronger and headache-inducing fragrance and c) not like it matters, but this cream is a thick white while the Japanese one is a light yellow. The Japanese version acts like a lightweight lotion and, when dry, feels like nothing on your skin, blends almost effortlessly, and provides a nice matte appearance. It barely smells like anything. The American version, however, has 5 different perfuming ingredients added, as if to cover up for something toxic and disgusting. The formula differences are just night and day. It's ridiculous. The name is so misleading--I know they removed 'Watery Essence' in the American branding, but they're basically different products. Given the complete 180 in the formula, this should not be called Biore UV Aqua Rich. This American formualtion also unfortunately unusable for me even if I wanted to use it. I have incredibly sensitive skin and this caused me to break out into itchy hives almost immediately. Thankfully, I patch tested on my elbow crook. At the time of writing this review, the Japanese version costs $3 more a tube on Amazon and $1 more elsewhere. Honestly, how many people purchased this thinking it'd be the Japanese version and were duped into buying this inferior formula? I buy about 10-12 bottles every year or two and while I was able to get a refund, Amazon made it incredibly difficult to do so given that they don't do returns on skincare.TLDR; if you're looking for the Japanese formulation, avoid this at all costs. This product is basically just slightly better Neutrogena with a sickly, awful fragrance. I'll be donating and getting rid of these. What a waste of time and product. Shame on the marketing team for this. Absolute shame.
