TimexMen's Easy Reader Watch

Husband LOVES it. It replaced a watch he thought he'd lost, but found, He's still wearing this one. (Not crazy about clasp)

The watch itself is probably the best cheap but still wearable with a suit watch you can spend your money on. That being said this particular one has a strange watch clasp mechanism that's quite annoying to fiddle with. Once it's on you're fine but it would be annoying to take off in the TSA at the airpor that's for sure. Overall great product, maybe consider buying another watch strap.

I ordered four of these. Two white faced, and two cream faced. Then I got some quick release leather bands in colors to match my dress shoes. Really, I could have just bought one watch and four quick release bands, and just swap them according to my other leathers. But now I can easily rotate through what I have. I’m using these for work, and I wanted an easy to read watch that wasn’t flashy. These work well for that, and I don’t need to worry about damaging them given their price point. I also pull the crown out when not in use to save battery life.

I purchased this Timex used but advertised in original box and "looks and functions" like new! Not so. I opened the crumpled box to find a watch w/a defective strap----it was cut and I am not talking a little cut! I would call this an untruth. The watch head looked new and the watch kept accurate time so I kept the watch but only after letting Amazon and Timex know what transpired. I got NO offer of satisfaction from either----Amazon did not respond to my request to simply swap out straps. I bought one on my own and replaced it. So much for their used but like new!!!!! I am sorely disappointed in Amazon! I thought they cared about customer service----apparently they don't and that will simply result in less purchases there from me. As for Timex, I'll never buy another since they simply did not respond. I guess it pays to spend more money from RELIABLE sellers/manufacturers. Buyer beware of both Amazon and Timex!

I've worn a Timex since 1968. I bought my first of 5 Indiglos in 1980. Bought one for Grandfather and one for me. His was returned to me upon his death in 1995. Mine saw more use and died in 1990. Second one made it till 2002, the last 2023. I order a new on and it died today Feb. 15. I call their number they send me some form to fill out to get it repaired. It's a damned pdf 2 page document that thinks it's a 1 page and won't print. 2 months should get you a new watch not an impossible repair. To that effect, Goodbye Timex. I wish you and your company well. We had some good memories but I'm cutting my loses, throwing the watch in the garbage and looking for a new manufacturer. Have a nice day.

I have 6.75 inch wrist and I purchased the 38mm version of this Timex Easy Reader watch. I think it's perfect. It's definitely a good looking, timeless style with large enough numbers to easily read but not so large it looks ridiculous. The Indiglo feature is always a favorite of mine on all the watches in my collection. The only thing I would do differently on this particular watch is to make the date window and number as large as the rest of the numbers on the face. The date is VERY TINY and fairly difficult to read. This is not a deal breaker, of course, but it's a shame that on a watch geared toward people who don't want to squint or use a magnifier to see the time, they didn't make the date match the rest of the readable features. For the price though, it's hard to complain because it's a Timex quality watch that looks beautiful and wears very nicely with business or casual wear. Definitely happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Once you figure out how to fasten and lossen the band, you will love it. The band looks like normal leather, but it is a mechanical closure, really cool.

Watch seems very nice, easy to read, good size, great price, would buy again, etc.Like all others, 1st thing I did after taking the watch out of the box is took off that weird watch band and pitched it ..
