I was looking for a piece of furniture that would match the style that I have been going with. The rustic and barn door look of this chest was perfect. I wanted some storage space to hide my shoes. And bonus a place to put my shoes on. I am a big girl so looking for something that would not break under my weight. I needed sturdy and something that I would like to look at on a daily basis. And not super expensive as I have been on a shopping spree for my new to me house.This item was relatively easy to put together although I did ask a friend to help me cuz I thought it would be easier with 2 people rather than one. I think 1 person could do it by themselves but easier with 2. The top opens easily and has a nice hinge on it so that it doesn't slam shut. I have started to put my shoes in it - but it is no where near filled - so spacious. I would like to buy another and have a place to hide bags of litter and bags of cat food and this I think could work for that as well.It feels very sturdy when I sat on it. I currently have a little blanket on the top for my cat to lay on as she seems to have taken over the bench as her own. I love having hidden storage. It is a very nice piece of furniture and I would buy a second one for storage of my cat stuff.Instructions were easy to follow. The tools needed were in the box. Sturdy. Pretty. Inexpensive but quality.

I like the quality of the hinges on this box. It stays open easily and is also easy to close. Hopefully it holds up to what I'm sure is going to be rough usage by my kids. Even though it's not solid wood it looks nice, so we're using it for living room toy storage.During assembly I used a drill to start the screws and then hand tightened with the provided screwdriver. The assembly was very easy for me to do myself except for the step to attach the lid. I wound up propping the box up on a blanket to help with that step.

Looks just like the photos. Very easy to put together comes with everything you need except drill. Perfect addition to any room for extra storage.

It's perfect. Very sturdy and looks beautiful. I love everything about it. Amazon charged me twice for this item and refused to acknowledge it, but I eventually resolved that.

This chest is perfect for storing pillows on our porch. Attractive & useful

These Storage Chests are absolutely incredible. I ordered two of the white for the purpose of storing photo albums and memorabilia in our guest room. To save time and energy, my hubby and I assembled the two simultaneously side by side. I was immolating him (lol), it took us about 45-minutes, however, if I'd done just one by myself, add another 40-min . As one of the reviewers stated, there are only "Pictures" for instructions, however, they are pretty straightforward. The weight and sturdiness of these chests are great; and you can sit on them as well without feeling you'll break or crack something. For the price, these can't be beat. I'd Highly Recommend!!

Bought this chest to use as an “in the living room” toy box. And it is absolutely gorgeous. It is def well made and very pretty in person. Can also be used to hold blankets. Much bigger inside than I originally expected !

I like it very much. Very sturdy with a sturdy bottom. Not pressed board. I am currently sitting on it while I write this review.Came with instructions and everything you need except Elmers glue for the dowel rods and drill.Took me hour and half to complete, but I am older and my vision is older also.The hardest part, and why I gave it 4 stars, was the lid. The pre-drilled holes were crap. Putting the hinges on was really awkward, and took the longest time to accomplish. I used the hand screwdriver to start those screws, once they bit into the wood, I resorted to the screwdriver to finish the job.It is a lovely piece of furniture. And I would not hesitate to buy another just like it!Might let a younger person put it together tho!I will supervise! 😊

Put together simply and easily with no injuries and only one minor tantrum, which for me is good. It's solid and serviceable and attractive and fits more than you would immediately presume.

Très sceptique au départ mais un coup assembler il est juste parfait je veut m’en acheter un autre pour le salon ! Très facile à assembler et peut contenir vraiment beaucoup de jouets
