When I ordered the tie I misunderstood the meaning of "Self Tied,' thinking it meant it was, by itself, already tied. Wishful thinking. when it arrived, two things were immediately apparent: The tie and pocket square were lovely and of high quality. The "self" was to be myself. Rising to the challenge, I easily found several excellent tutorials on YouTube and after a few attempts managed to produce a very attractive bowtie. I now own a lovely bowtie and the skill to tie it as well. Good deal.

This is a very colorful and fun bow tie. I recently went out of town on business and wore this tie with a sweater and jeans. I received quite a few compliments and second glances. The fabric is slick but it stays ties nicely. It adjusts to the correct length with clearly marked measurements. Just remember that the fabric of your shirt will need to be accounted for. I increased by 1/4th and it was perfect. I would never wear the pocket square and tie at the same time but at such a great price point you could pick up a few to mix and match. I sport mine hanging out of my left back jeans pocket when not wearing a jacket. Thanks for reading and have a great day, you deserve it.

Quality soft material and economical cost

OK. Let's start with a simple question: Do you want to look good? Or are you looking for a once-in-a-while tie that no one is really going to pay much attention to anyway? If it's the former, this tie isn't for you. If it is the latter, this tie is a great choice. The colors are exactly like you see on the screen. The size of the tie is equivalent to a 2.5 or 3 inch bow-tie (average size). But the fabric is stiff and hard to style. I bought this because it was cheap -- but that's what it is: A cheap, entry level bow tie. I wanted something more.

Received today and it is as listed. The set comes in a box (I am not sure I would necessarily call it a gift box), and contains the bowtie and the pocket square, each folded in its own separate plastic wrap. I didn't have high expectations for the price, and I am not disappointed. The color is true and matches very well. There is a label that says 'Handmade' and the fabric feels more like light soft polyester, rather than a silky feel (I didn't think it would be pure silk: Get real, you are getting a bowtie and a pocket square for under $10). The pocket square is closer to 11.5"x11.5". The bowtie is adjustable and looks nice when tied; much better than a pre-tied one. The adjustment is very accurate to the neck size. As a rule, the full length of a bow tie should be your neck size + 19 (In inches), and thus this bow tie delivers. For a dressy look with a suit, I will exclusively wear a tie, and this is likely going to be a one-time use, and thus for the price, no complaint. Actually, I am pleasantly surprised. Recommend and would buy again. Thank you.
