The unit works very well, it has a timer from 1hr to 12hr, but can’t be set to be on longer than that, for longer time, you need to extend the countdown timer.It has a small fan at the bottom which helps to remove the excess moist from inside the box, thermostat can only be set to 4,45 and 50 degrees, it has a humidifier sensor that gives you real humidity inside the box. For rhe price, it has an excellent built and functions.I recommend.

I'm a relative novice when it comes to 3D printing, but I found this filament so easy to work with on my entry-level Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo.I sliced a print-in-place jointed Leaf Dragon in PrusaSlicer and, as a challenge to see just how far the print speed could be pushed with this filament, I set the extruder to 210°C and the bed to 60°C and went for the full 250 mm/s. Much to my amazement and pleasure, it printed out absolutely perfectly.No tangles. No snapping. No stringing. The whole 4 hour print job went without a hitch and the colours were stunning!Sovol will be my go-to supplier for fancy multicolour filament from now on for sure.Highly recommended.

Comes very well packaged looks good.It's air tight with the lid down and when drying it's stated the lid should be open on it's built in stand offs which double as closures.The controls are touch sensitive, a little over sensitive, you can set 40, 45 and 50C and the timer from 6 to 48 hours, not 6 to 12. You can see temp and relative humidity altho absolute humidity would be more useful.The base gets warm in use and the fan can't be heard in the day.If you're going to use the box to feed a printer, get 6mm threaded pneumatic connectors for 4mm teflon tube and swap out the existing ones, the nut can be reused.Also this will work way better(like all heater type driers if you out silica gel in there, propping the lid and letting the air circulate outside is a little hit and miss.I'd shut the lid and put silica in there to soak up the released moisture from the filament.Oh mine cost 40GBP it's now 60.

Truth is; I didn't expect too much... I thought it might be just enough to keep filament dry, rather than to actively dry "wet" filament and worst case it might be almost acceptable as a reel holder for filament in use. As it turns out it is exceptionally good as a reel holder, it dries filament well, it preheats filament while printing aiding fluidity, it's just... Good... It has a relatively small footprint on the bench, which is really nice... I'm happy, I'd buy another and I am pretty confident that you'll have results like those that I have had... Give it a go...

You can’t go wrong using Sovol filament in a Sovol printer, it’s good quality and prints great

My first dryer from Sovol needed a new fan, it was noisy. They replaced it without a quibble. That dryer last exactly two years. It did a fantastic job of drying filament so I bought another. I found out that the old dryer was fixable, it just needed a new heater element. Fully expecting to pay for a replacement Sovol sent out a replacement part free of charge, one year after the guarantee ran out. I will always buy from Sovol including its filament because when you find a good customer-oriented company you would be silly to stop. As for the running of the dryer. It has three set temperatures. 40c/45c/50c. When drying filament you don't want it to dry too fast as the outside of the reel will be dry but the inside might still be damp. So, I recommend the slow burn. It has a timer which runs incrementally from 6 hours to 12. After the timer stops the dryer switches off. However, yes there is a however. The aforementioned heater element will probably last longer if you keep the dryer's feet off the table. There is a stand that fits the sovol on Thingiverse that does the job of providing good underside ventilation. I highly recommend the Sovol SH01 Filament Dehydrator Spool Holder.

Seems like the heater struggels to reach the temperature setting. The dryer need som additional holes so that moist air can evacuate the drying chamber.Othervise it works as intended.

First things first, the item arrived very well packaged with foam padding both inside and outside of the dryer for excellent protection.The setup was very easy to understand and use, basically just plug it in, pop in some filament and set the drying temperature and time on the front panel and let it do its thing.The nice touch is that you can see the moisture content within the drying chamber throughout the process and I can confirm that it does bring down the humidity levels quite a bit, however even though the chamber is fitted with a seal and locks the humidity does seem to rise again quickly once the drying process ends. There are rubber bungs to close any gaps from the filament feed holes and even to block the power socket, but somehow the humidity still rises fairly quickly.Does it do the job? Well yes it has helped with drying out some older filaments, but I find keeping the dryer running whilst printing provides the best results for me. I’ve given the 4 stars purely for the fairly rapid return of moisture in the dryer even though it’s sealed, but if you can live with that it does a good enough job.

I purchased this to be able to dry 2 rolls of filament for my 3D printers. This is especially important for the PETG that I use as well as the PLA, I do not use ABS. As stated in the "About this Item" information on the Amazon site, it cycles back and forth between the Temp/Humidity and drying time. The first time that I turned this on I was quite concerned because I could smell the electrical smell. I turned it off and checked it out to make certain it was ok. I think that it was just getting rid of that "new" smell.I turned it on again and programmed it for 6 hours of drying time. The "Work" was showing on the unit, but it shut off after 6 minutes. So I tried it again, and it seems to be working ok now.There is just a simple small piece of paper for the instructions. Most filament dryers are fairly intuitive and this is one pretty ease to understand as well.You are able to use the filament direct from the dryer to your 3D printer, but I don't do that. The unit is lightweight coming in a 3.65 lbs. I had nice sized footprint 9.69x 6.89 x 9.53". I have the white model and I feel it looks nice.I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I hadn't thought of placing the desiccants into the dryer with the filament. I like that idea as well. When the time is completed, it emits a loud beep telling you it is done. That is a nice feature as well. It is extremely quiet and I don't even notice it is on.

Por el mismo precio te puedes comprar un de una marca mas reconocida como SUNLU per a diferencia de esos es que este seca dos rollos al mismo tiempo y aparte tiene sello y ventilador para un secado uniforme. Altamente recomendable si impremes mucho con PETG o ABS, filamentos que aborben mucha humedad.
