Able to re-use vs plastic
Quality tasting water. Love the ability to re-use them unlike plastic. Ordered a set for my Nephew in college. He can refill at the filtered water stations on campus vs more plastic bottles delivery. Thx Amazon

Good water
I wanted to get away from plastic bottled water and decided to try these. Like the taste of the water better and I the bottles are fun and reusable. They are way too expensive however. If the price came down I would purchase again.

Buy a different bottled water.
The bottles are beautiful and really thick. But the mouth of the bottle is slightly sharp and these caps are horrible. We couldn’t take the caps off of 1/3 of the bottles we ordered.

Lovely Aluminum Bottle But Water Is Acidic & Tastes Mediocre-5X Price Of Premium Bottled Water
The design of this Costa Rican Rain Forest Water aluminum water bottle is really attractive. The bottles are tall but only hold a typical 16.9 oz. of water. The bottles get cold fast on the outside but the inside doesn’t feel as cold. But water does stay cold longer than in plastic bottles. These aren’t the best lids for those with dexterity issues as some have been hard to unscrew. I’m informed the bottles have a food grade epoxy liner inside that’s BPA free. I don’t drink from aluminum containers often and am unsure about the risks, if any, of drinking from aluminum with an epoxy liner. This Rain Forest water tastes drinkable but it’s not real smooth, and it’s no better than my filtered refrigerator water. While no claims are made about the pH of this water, I tested it with pH strips repeatedly and every time the results were the same and showed this is quite acidic with a 4.5 to 5 pH (the colors are so close I can’t tell which). I want to drink water that’s at least neutral (7 pH) and much prefer a higher pH alkaline water. Drinking water should have a pH between 6.5 to 8.5 according to the EPA. My tap water has a 7 pH.The bottles are heavier to carry than plastic. I’ve read that a larger % of aluminum is recycled versus plastic so perhaps this has an environmental benefit, but I can’t justify buying this water as it’s such a poor value for water I find drinkable but not particularly enjoyable. It’s currently priced at $39.48 for 12 regular sized 16.9 oz. bottles, or 19 cents an ounce. Today, I bought my favorite premium alkaline water on Amazon for 4 cents an ounce ($16.58 for 12 larger 33.8 oz. bottles). So Rain Forest is almost 5x the price of a premium water I fully enjoy. I see a lovely looking bottle, but the water itself is acidic and mediocre. 3 stars.
