Genuine E3D Prusa V6 HotEnd for Prusa MK3 3D Printer (24V) (Kit)

A pre-owned MK3S that I bought required an extruder rebuild, so I purchased an official E3D Prusa ready V6 that was delivered and fitted the very next day. It was easy to install and a straight swap. All parts are the same as the originally supplied V6 extruder that came with the printer.As a few reviews mention, the supplied extruder requires the use of an original PTFE/teflon throat tube (that comes with the Prusa printer). It's a Prusa part, not E3D (and isn't stated in the supplied-parts breakdown in the extruder's listing) so that wasn't unexpected.All in all a great product that's well made, delivered quickly, well packaged, easy to assemble and works perfectly.

Replaced my mk3s hot end due to snapping heat cartridge. This kit was almost a perfect drop in for the whole hot end. Couple of things to note,No ptfe tube so dont throw the old oneNot exactly well packaged considering how. delicate the cartridge and thermistor are.Thermistor isn't a drop in as the original is soldered just past the extruder.Delivery was meant to be next day and wasnt even after waiting in all day.

Advert states “A DROP-IN REPLACEMENT FOR PRUSAS: A fully assembled, replacement HotEnd designed for Prusa MK3 and MK3S”It is not and, although the picture on the ad shows a PTFE Tube protruding out the top of the unit, it does NOT come with the PTFE Tube so can not just ‘Drop-In’ to an MK3SMisleading advertising, either by the seller or by AmazonDon’t waist your money on this, if you need a replacement buy the kit which is £16 cheaper and contains everything you need.

The temperature sensor Completely rubbish didn't work when I receive it wasted hours trying to fix the problem only to realize it doesn't work at all
