This is my first crimping iron so I don’t have a frame of reference, but this one does the job nicely for me. I only need to set it the lowest temp, and my hair stays crimped until my next wash. I’ve been using it pretty frequently for a couple months and it’s holding up.

I wanted to find a budget friendly crimper for my wigs when I cosplay, and this works great! It heats up fast, the crimp holds nicely and stays in the wig even after a long day at a convention. The size is great and not too bulky which makes it easy to use. Great for the price!

I really urge anyone to buy this affordable crimper for styling wigs. I am going to a con soon and needed this for 3 wigs. There are 5 heat settings, I usually use the first and second heating option to crimp my synthetic wigs. It also comes with a heat resistant glove so you can handle the hair after using heat on it. Note that it uses Celsius rather than degrees Fahrenheit if you are in the US. Also, please make sure your synthetic wigs are heat safe so that you don’t melt the fibers. You can see the difference in hair that has not been crimped vs hair that has. Great purchase.

the crimper is great! i only use this for cosplay wigs and not human hair so it does not damage the hair, heat output is very good and comes with a heat glove, size is good but crimping requires a lot of time and patience do it in small sections. portability yes, speed very quick

Works good. I don't know what the glove is for though. Thought it was for the heat but its not a heat resistant glove. Doesn't damage the hair. Easy to use. Looks exactly like the picture. And a great value of how much it costs.
