Good entry-level amp with classic Marshall look
This is a decent practice amp - compact, well built, and looks great with classic Marshall branding. Its small size makes it easy to carry around and store without any hassle, which is ideal for home practice or taking it on the go.The speaker can sound a bit thin and slightly boxy at times, but that’s fairly typical for an entry-level portable amp like this.

Ok...kind of
Pros:Very compactLooks like a MarshallWell made and should lastClean and a overdrive channelLow priceCons:Bit too loud for practicing in small box rooms (even on its lower clean settings).Limited EQ controlsClean channel sounds very 'bright'. Tend to hear clicky, pick-up sounds. Seems there's quite a high presence boost on the clean settings.Very short power cable. No reverbOverall:It's an OK practice amp. Marshall make awesome, legendary amps, but you realistically need to you spend £300-£400+ to get more of a quality tone. This cheap practice amp works OK. It's robust and will probably last a very long time. Its nothing to get excited about, but at the price point it's worth considering.

Good little amp
Purchased for my budding teenage rockstar. Small enough to take to his mates for jamming and practice. Good clean tone and some distortion, volume is very good, way more than required in our house 😆. All in all excellent value for money and good to see marshall are still tiptop having had a similar amp in my teens

Perfect sound
The sound of the amplifier is of a very high quality. Also, I didn’t expect it to be that loud.

Great Practice Amp, But with a Crucial Limitation on the Aux Input
The Marshall MG10 serves its purpose perfectly as a compact practice amplifier, delivering the brand's classic tone, but it has a frustrating design limitation for those who want to jam along with backing tracks.Overall, the amplifier works very well for what it was built to do. The clean channel is crisp, and the overdrive channel - combined with the Contour button - offers excellent versatility for practicing various styles of rock and metal at apartment-friendly volumes. However, a major issue arises when trying to use the Media In / Aux In to play along with background music. The Marshall MG10 does not have an independent volume control for the auxiliary input. It relies entirely on the connected device to adjust the audio level. If you connect a device that does not adjust the volume of its line outputs (such as the fixed RCA output of certain record players/turntables), the sound comes out extremely loud and deafening, with no way to control or lower it from the amplifier's panel. The only workaround to control the volume is plugging the device directly into the main guitar Input, but this completely defeats the purpose of the amp, as you can no longer plug your guitar in at the same time to practice. If your goal is just to connect a phone, laptop, or devices that have their own volume controls to jam along, the Marshall MG10 is an excellent choice. However, if you plan to integrate it with audio equipment that has a fixed volume output, this lack of a dedicated volume knob for the auxiliary input becomes a major usability flaw.
