I am so impressed with this purchase! When I first got the bag, I was in Wow, factor it was huge. I did not expect to be able to have so much for such a good price Let Me explain. First of all , I was using peppermint leaves to prevent voles from getting at the roots Of the plants that I was trying to grow in my garden and they dig underneath the roots to get to the roots of the plant and then , of course , the plant dies , which makes me angry So I was using peppermint leaves and powder garlic underneath the seeds , I was planting , which seems to deter the nasty little rodents So When I opened the bag that I got of peppermint leaves, the aroma was amazing. So not only do I have enough to do my garden , I also have enough to really enjoy this very lovely tasty tea , so it serves both purposes and I will definitely buy from this seller again

Okay oh my goodness I finally found what I've been searching for. This peppermint tea (leaves) are great!!! The size of the package is huge but I poured my tea leaves into Mason jars and man!! I ended up using 6 jars and still had tea leaves left in the bag, there's that much!!! I'm very impressed with that, the appearance, aroma, versatility, spiciness,(which is perfect not too potent but not too subtle), and the color. Between the color,the aroma and just the texture and freshness you can tell this is true quality tea leaves. I bought it because of the great health benefits mine being gut instability. It amazes me how well the benefits of this tea actually really work than others stating pretty much the same qualities of this tea. I've done much research because I would buy tea after tea because of their claims only to realize after trying them they fell short. But if you give this tea company a chance I know you'll see the differences also.

I love to cook and bake, and use cut and sifted dried herbs for many uses: cooking, baking, DIY herbal tea blends, infused olive oil, DIY skin care, and potpourri to name a few. Frontier Co-op Cut and Sifted Peppermint Leaf is a standout in my kitchen! - Very high quality. Fresh with a clean cut and sifted finish. - Delicious true peppermint taste with a wonderful aroma. - Works fantastic with my other cut and sifted dried herbs for the versatile uses mentioned above. I keep a working amount in an airtight screw on lidded jar and store the mother bag in a cupboard. This 16 oz. bag is a terrific value, too. I highly recommend this product.

This is powerful tea. I made tea twice from one set of dried peppermint. While the product did not smell strange only of peppermint the tea made therefrom was very strong in flavor. I drink my peppermint tea with no added milk or sugar and I drink it at night when I need to avoid caffeine. I would buy this again. The only draw back I found was the zip seal on the bag of dried tea was resealable but not easily so.

I absolutely love this peppermint leaf tea! I ran out of my homegrown peppermint so I ordered this. I am always happy with Frontier’s products and this was no exception. It has a strong minty smell and flavor and a great texture, not powdery. I use it in various tea blends or alone. This is one of my kids’ favorite flavors and they use it often. I use it in a daily blend I make which includes red raspberry leaf, alfalfa, nettles, and lately, to help us over respiratory issues, mullein and/or elecampane. The elecampane has a strong flavor and the mint helps improve the taste of this tea. I make a big pitcher, sweetening with honey and my children drink throughout the day. This has kept us healthy throughout the bad flu season we had going on around us. We just had a minor cough and sniffles go through the house and I attribute it to daily use of this tea.

Strong peppermint smell and flavor. Tastes great as tea. Leaves look clean and fresh. Helps with digestion and feels soothing. You get a good amount for the price. Packaging is simple but i wish it was sealable. Good quality herbal product. Very satisfiying.

First of all, one pound of tea is really a lot! I put a quarter as size reference, it's tiny comparing to the bag. Let me start from the beginning: My friend gave me some mint tea leaves that she planted, and the taste was so good that I was obsessed with finding a good commercial mint tea ever since. I tried several sources, including the most expensive mint tea bags from Whole Foods, but the flavor was unbearably bland comparing to the one my friend gave me, that I tossed the unfinished tea after the first try. After reading the reviews of this one on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. It came with a gigantic bag of tea. I filled all my empty tea jars, and still a lot of tea left in the bag. I clamped it carefully to retain the flavor/fragrance. Now come to the flavor/fragrance: It smells really good, with really intense mint fragrance. The flavor is less impressive comparing to the fragrance, and cannot quite compare with the tea from my friend; however, when I add 2 tablespoons of tea leaves for one teapot, the flavor is good enough. Since I have so much tea leaves, it will last for probably more than a year. Bottom line, it is a good tea at a bargain price! I will buy again in the future
