How to Design Cars Like a Pro

The examples and blurblettes are so inspiring, it really got me started doing car design! It's not so much informative as it is inspiring, but if you study each example, and use the designer's notes as inspiration to keep you going, you can begin to abstract the basics of car design. Passion helps - there is virtually no "instruction," as I recall.

I think this book is very beneficial for getting information about car design with different viewpoints of varied designers. However it is not advanced book like a car design bible.

This book was very disappointing. There's over 20 pages of random college students' favorite cars, one student per page. I paid for a book written by professionals, not filler from interviewing students. It's more a history book than a book that teaches you how to design cars. There are barely any drawings or techniques.

Designing cars on my high school scribblers was as far as I got designing cars... This was a fun book.
