Nice Chamois, A Bit Illogical Design
The tights pretty fit well. They are a bit tight to pull on and just a touch short, bit it's a very small amount. The one major criticism I have of them is the placement of the wind paneling. On winter tights, I think the most important places to keep protected with windproofing and water resistance are the knees, crotch, front of the legs, and, a savvy designer that's actually ridden a bike, will put a strip of protection across the butt and lower back to combat wheel spray. Unfortunately, 2XU fails to provide protection at the knee or across the butt/lower back.On the knees, and lower back they've just put a regular stretchy lycra. While this is good for the mobility of the tights, it's does almost nothing for protection those areas from wind and water. If they had at least put a Roubaix fleece or extended the windproof material to cover these areas, the rating would easily be a 4 or 4.5 stars. They would get a five if they also wrapped the calves with windproof/water resistant paneling (Helps with cold water spray off the rear tire).I bought these in a hurry, and should have bought either the Castelli Polare or Pearl Izumi Elite Amfib Cycling Bib Tight. Both of these tights add protection to the knees, butt/lower back, and wrap the calves.

Good quality tights, mediocre effectiveness
I took my first ride with these tights today, 10 MPH wind and about 50 degrees F. I would have to agree with the previous review. I purchased these since the price was almost 50% off and the description made them sound very good. I thought they would be high end based on the MSRP. The product description gives these tights a very low temperature rating. In the conditions I rode in today, I found these tights adequate in warmth. I'd maybe use them down to 45, but probably not any lower than than. These tights are very thin and I don't see how they achieve their 14 degree, let alone 30 dregree rating. They fit well as the previous reviewer states. I had the exact same experience, thight to pull on and slightly short. I did not find the chamois super comfortable and actually had some irritation. Maybe they need a wash or two to break in. But I am used to the Sugoi Formula FX and that chamois is amazing. So I only give them 3 stars because they are not very warm and the chamois is only so/so in my opinion. The tights do appear to be of good quality contruction though.
