Great product! Heavy duty but not unbearably heavy. Fits all my important documents and items. Love the shelf.

The safe is very roomy and capable of holding important files and valuables. It is fire proof and has bit key and code access.

This is the perfect size safe that can be bolted to the ground or wall. It also fits perfect inside an amour or closet. The keypad is easy to use and the inside has a small light when the door is open. There are 2 shelves and plenty of room inside. Even holds a full bottle of wine or other liquor.

Do not purchase this item. The return policy is within 30 days however the seller gets to say whether they received the item of them back in time to authorize your return. The locking mechanism on the safe did not work. I went through their instructions step-by-step was even able to get the safe to say OK; meaning you have so many seconds to open it (5) however mine would not open. Not plugged in as they suggested, not with the first time code and not with the emergency key. I would not buy from the seller or from the manufacturer again. Let me make it too much of a pain in the ass to return; even though I know they would get the product if I send it back right now, again, they get to say whether they receive it or not in order for you to receive your refund. Even if they agree with you, it may take 30 days to get your refund, if you want replacement, but they haven’t received your safe they will charge your card again. Again, do not purchase!!!

My review is for the smaller safe in this listing. I own a few similar safes, have returned several and have done significant research. You don't get a great safe for well under $100. That said, this isn't the worst small safe for the price. Weight is about 22 lbs. It does need to be screwed to something (wall stud, for example). It has two predrilled holes in the back, none on the bottom. Some will complain the holes mean it's not waterproof, but the safe must be secured to something to prevent removal of the whole safe. The exterior depth is actually 11" (not 9.85") and that extra 1.15" is important for firearm storage. Unfortunately, in order for the door to properly align, they've put soft foam shims inside the bolt slot to push the door back into alignment. Without them, the door comes a bit forward allowing insertion of a screw driver which may allow the door to be pried open. If you're handy, you might switch those shims to hard plastic, which is what lines the bolt holes anyway. This safe will not keep a skilled thief with tools at bay for long, but will keep out children and snatch and run thieves without tools. My safe does not have an interior light. Note that the door is removable by lifting it up and out of the hinges when open which may allow you to put larger items into the safe. You will need 4 AA batteries which are not included. As safes on Amazon go, this is reasonably sturdy, but you absolutely must secure it to something. Workmanship on this unit is mediocre at best.

Easy to lift and install. Digital keypad entry did not work, just will use keys. Tape up the wall mount holes in back if not used with fire-proof tape, possibly put some fireproof tape around interior of door frame to close air gap. If you need a light to medium security safe, and one you can lift, this seems like a good one after having compared 8-10 others.
