First, the good; it is indeed a solid wood media cabinet. It has a pleasing maple veneer, in the more “traditional” category of furniture, plus the sliding doors are very attractive when down. Now the not so good; first, and this is entirely my fault because I wanted this piece to work. I measure my components A thousand times and convinced myself they would fit. They didn’t, so the doors don’t close. Measure well and don’t make my dumb mistake. Next, while being visually pleasing and genuinely liked by those who have seen it, this is not fine furniture by any stretch. But it is priced as such. The larger middle piece plus two smaller end pieces cost well over one thousand. While the online pictures are beautiful, the real thing doesn’t quite match. Lastly, the packaging was inferior. And because of this the pieces came damaged with two visible cracks. Not too visible when mounted but not acceptable. So, if you want a wood floater that matches your furniture, as in my case, perhaps you can go for it. If I had to do it again I would have saved close to $1k and bought elsewhere. Not worth the money.
