Frye Women's Carson Shootie Ankle Boot

I wore these shoes for over 12 hours the first day I owned them. They are so comfortable, so cute, and very well made. I would caution not to walk on slippery floors when you first get them because the soles need to be broken in for grip, you'll end up looking like a cartoon slipping on a banana peel...not that I know from personal experience or anything...

I loved this bootie . There is nothing to dislike . The reviews said that they ran a half size to big and I’m a 91/2 -10 . So , I ordered a 9/12 and they were fine . Then they went on sale and I ordered a 10 in black . They were also fine . I liked the 10 because the front of the shoe goes pretty high on your foot . The 10 gave a little more room but the 91/2 was ok too . A little tighter fit is all . I felt they were true to size . Nice leather and well made .

I love these shoes so much... I first got them in a tan color and was so impressed that I knew I had to have them in black too. I have long thin feet and most Frye boots are kind of "baggie" but these fit like a glove. I wouldn't say they're narrow, but they are well fitting. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually get and they are perfect. The only sad thing is that I think they must be discontinuing them and it's getting very hard to find my size.

The color is unusual, but not over the top. So comfortable and just a little different.

Edited with update below:I love these! My one concern is the sole does not seem to be as securely attached to the boot as some other Frye. I got them half price on sale and at that price they are fine. Very comfortable and give me just a hint of height.Update. I ordered the same boots in the same size in black. The black were noticeably narrower. I had to return them.

Love this Shootie, was a tad big, but added a thin shoe insert and now they are perfect! Amazon had the best price on these Shooties than any other website/QVC on-line store.....these Frye’s are quality, well made shoes....nothing cheap about them and they look great on my feet!

Live the look. Seem like a sturdy, quality shoe; but the inside of the seam on the high vamp, rubs where my foot and leg meet. I don't know if this would ever soften up enough. I wanted to wear w/o socks, during the seasonal change to and from Summer. Of course, didn't realize until I wore them out and about. They are not much use to me. Size wise, maybe a tiny bit short. Also, I had seen some variations, of the pale blush color, at different online shops. I called Frye to clarify. I was told that it was more like a nude, peachy pink, which is what I was hoping for. I would not consider this color pale; and is more of a dusty rose pink. Can use as a neutral though.

This is a beautiful boot but too big for me. I ordered my regular size, 8M, but needed a 7 1/2...not available in this size. You can't go wrong with anything made by Frye.
