Direct fit. On my d140 John deere mower.

I got one spindle to review but also purchased a second one so that I could replace both my deck spindle/bearings at the same time. The bearings are easy to replace if you have the tools and some know how. Just make sure you have a tight fitting socket when removing the old spindle mounting bolts as the old bolt heads are prone to rounding over while trying to remove. If that happens, your in for a bad day.I must say I am rather impressed with the initial quality of these bearings. They seem very well made and unlike the more expensive oem spindle/bearings, these come with the pulley and blade nuts and new spindle mounting bolts. Also unlike the oem spindles, the mounting holes are already pre-threaded. In case you wanted to reuse the old pulley or blade nuts or just keep some spares, they are the same threads as the new ones.I was also impressed that after installing and greasing, I found they needed a lot of grease but will just stop taking grease once full instead of the grease squeezing out past the bearings onto the ground like the oem's. This means I will need to grease them less often. This may change however once the spindles get some mileage on them.Overall, for the price I am very impressed with these bearings. I have about 6 hours on them so far and they or quiet and smooth performing.If these out perform the typical time I get out of the OEM spindles I have used in the past or if they fail prematurely I will update this review. For now though, I'm glad I took a chance on these and saved some $$.

Working fine so far

Product was the perfect fit for a 48” mower. I have a John Deere and it was making a lot of noise. These were easy to install. Be careful not to over tighten the bolts. The bolts that came with the unit were a little soft

They seem to be an exact copy of the John Deere part. I installed both of them about a month ago and they both are working fine. Great price.

My concern was that the spindles might not fit. However, the fit perfectly, and with a little help from a youtube video, they were easy to install.

Threads stripped b4 tightening on to the blade on 1 of 2 spindles!! Reimbursement requested! Return shipping has been offered..
