Latch doesn't work the ears dont catch on the handle there is also a ton of play in the levers the plastic cover also broke during installation due to top hooks having no gap

The assembly was machined a little outside original tolerances as the connecting rods became too long and would not fully withdraw the end catches and allow the tailgate to release. I had to modify some things to make the rods reach shorter than originally manufactured so the handle assembly would pull them in close enough to release the end catches. A 30 minute job ended up taking all morning.

Great fit and easy to install, tailgate works smooth as silk at long last after years of a broken latch. Quality seems excellent, was really glad it came with the small plastic latch-rod retainers as one of mine was broken. Even the inner surround was very thick plastic and had a very snug snap-in fit. Very pleased with it overall, and glad I didn't go with one of the cheaper all-plastic handles that get mediocre reviews at best. I found the best way to fit the inner surround was to leave the three large inner torx handle bolts loose so that the handle has some give, snake the inner surround in top-first, and snap the bottom in. Then give the torx bolts a final tightening.

I had a hard time finding a medal HANDLE most companies offer a plastic one .easy to replace ,looks fabulous

Was too flimsy to unlatch the tailgate, just bends and disengages. Would not buy again, waste of money.
