We’ve been using this net regularly for my 10U son, and it’s been a really solid addition to our backyard practice setup. We use it for just about everything — hitting off a tee, side slow-toss, pitching practice, and even throwing drills when it’s set up at first base for fielding work from shortstop or second base. The net itself is very sturdy and holds up well to repeated use. Balls stay contained nicely, which makes practice more efficient and keeps us from constantly chasing balls around the yard. The frame feels stable, and I’ve been impressed with the powder-coated finish — the paint job looks clean and has held up well so far with no chipping or rusting. Setup is straightforward, and once it’s up, it stays put. It’s a great size for youth players and feels like a true training tool rather than a flimsy backyard toy. Overall, this has been a great value and exactly what we were looking for to support multiple types of practice at the 10U level. I’d definitely recommend it to parents or coaches looking for a durable, versatile net for youth baseball training.

My son is obsessed with this thing. It’s quick and easy to set up and even if you forget to put it away during a storm it will probably still be fine (ask me how I know..) it holds up well to weather and speeding baseballs as well as rough and tumble boys so the quality is great! I like how easy it is to put up and put away, and the bag actually fits it so it’s a great design. It’s been up since March (it’s now the end of August) and my son uses it every day. It still looks brand new and isn’t even faded.

Purchased this hitting net for my 14-year-old son to give him more opportunities to work on his swing both hitting off a tee and with soft toss. After 5 weeks of use (almost daily), I am very pleased with this net. My son has no problem setting the net up or tearing it down by himself; he is not able to leave it assembled so he puts it up and tears it down every time he hits and he has not complained once. He hits almost every day and sometimes multiple times in a day. He hits around 100 balls/day (sometimes more) and the net has not fallen over one time! He absolutely loves this net and it has really motivated to work on hitting. Some questions I had when purchasing: 1. Is the net large enough? Seems to be perfect. He has only hit over the net a handful of times and those were bad swings that resulted in what would be weak pop-ups. (the ball ended up maybe 4 feet beyond the net) 2. Is it easy to assemble? As I said, my son does it with no problem. We leave the net attached to the side poles, pull those poles out from the base frame and lay them along the base. He wraps the net around the base and poles and carries it to put it away. It comes with a bag but we have not had to use that yet; I did put everything in the bag when it first arrived just to see how it fit and it worked great. 3. Is it durable? As I said above, it has yet to fall over when hitting into it so that is great. The net itself seems to be good quality so I don't see it falling apart under normal use. The frame is lightweight but also seems to be durable enough to handle the set-up/tear-down so no issues there. Overall, I am very satisfied and my son loves the hitting net. It has been great for allowing him to get more swings in by himself without having to go to cages. He is looking forward to using it inside too once the weather starts to turn.

Perfect gift for any boy who loves sports, especially baseball. Easily assembled, can fit in most rooms with 8ft ceiling. Can be used outdoors or indoors. Great quality and easily portable anywhere you want to move it!

Nice net. It would be better if it came with a bag. Careful on your order selection. The replacement bags are 20 bucks.

My husband is an avid disc golfer and I bought this by suggestion of a disc golf forum. It works great and is more affordable than the disc golf specific practice nets. It has also saved my shed from being accidentally whacked and probably improved our relationship with our neighbors now that he is not whacking their fence or having to ask to retrieve discs from their yard. If you anchor it it will stay put - ours did through several substantial thunderstorms as we forgot to take it down. Easy to set up and a great gift for disc golfers!

You ever get something and it's just better all around then you expected? That's my opinion of this net and stand. 1. The carry bag is made of a heavy codura type nylon, with a good full length zipper and very usable handles. A far cry from the very thin nylon "slip sack" that they could have used. 2. The netting is a good heavy weigh with the pockets for the rods made of heavy duty nylon. The stitching looks strong, the target pocket is a great aid when I'm practicing disc golf. 3. The stand is aluminum, quick and easy to assemble and disassemble. The welds aren't up to grade I'd expect on a $1500 mountain bike, but for a frame for a net, more than adequate. The fiberglass poles for the sides have heavy duty metal fittings and I don't see them every having any problems. 4. I can setup or take down in about 2 minutes, everything fits easily into the case without any planning or exact placement. 5. I haven't used the target, but see how that would be useful for something like pitching. I haven't had to use the stakes either, my hardest throws with a disk simply cause it to rock slightly, no danger of it tipping over. This has vastly improved my disc golf practice. I can drill my fundamentals without having to walk the length of the field to recover my discs for another set of throws, saving me time and energy. (at 67, I've got only a limited supply of both) If you're on the edge on this one, get it. It's one of the rare items that's much better than I had expected.

Great net and perfect for use with a team. Easy setup and tear down to take any wear from back yard to the park. Highly recommend.
