Got it today, plugged it in and it works. So even with it saying it is designed for forscan, it works with my PC and with TOAD. More money yet it does work. Money well spent.

It works as it should. Used on my '21 F150 and 2 other fords.

There is some unique drivers and trouble shooting with Alfa obd but you can find them on the website Other than that it works great with my Fiat and Alfa obd Indication light is great to have the quality is good Speed is completely good for live data It was easy to connect to my computer

Worded great with my 2009 Ford F-150

It functions but it acts like it connects and disconnects repeatedly, causing unusual behavior on my laptop. I'll update if I figure out a solution. UPDATE: A new, better, laptop does not exhibit this problem and all works fine. Those cheaper, smaller laptops just don't have the power needed for this device. Star rating increased.

I’m a Linux enthusiast and don’t use Windows so I wanted to try this on Linux under WINE using FORScan. Works just fine! Run the following commands first (change out username for your username) and logout and back in sudo usermod -a -G dialout username sudo usermod -a -G try username Then install via WINE, get your license and install in FORScan and you’re good to go. No driver issues just plug in and go and fix or hack whatever you want on your Ford etc. I used this to fix the hyper flashing LEDs on my Maverick. Super easy. Going to do a lot more hacks! For reference, Kali Linux 2024.3 / Ubuntu 2404.4 on a Surface tablet using FORScan 2.3.62 under WINE. VERY HAPPY! Don’t have to replace my LEDs now and can add more drive modes and a whole lot more! Way worth the $30!!! Connected instantly, easy to use/diagnose, very easy to read and understand. If you tinker with Fords or Mazdas, get this!

Great computer interface for Forscan (Ford), it probably works for any computer to USB program. Good quality, never lost connection. Get one if you need one!

it's a must have if your using forscan used other connector but6 this one gave no issues

Originally had a generic bluetooth ELM adapter with no HS/MS switch. It was able to get to BCM but not the IPC. Decided to take chance on this vLinker wired device. When I plugged in the first time to laptop, Windows automatically found the right driver and I was able to connect to my 2015 F150 first try. I did make sure all my settings matched the included instructions. Device was able to access my IPC and make the changes I wanted which was 720-07-01, coolant and transmission temperature display. Really impressed as it's half the price of the OBDLink EX that Forscan recommends.

Worked on my 2020 f150 never had any issues connecting to forscan.
