This is great for pruning
Clean cuts and as fast as a bypass pruner without the crushing. It is bigger than I expected but that was a plus as it reaches further.I saw that some people had trouble getting the handle aligned with the blade but it does work if you pay attention to what you are doing.

good product
Fast shipping, which is important these days when everything is taking about a week to receive. Easy to put together and sharp.

Good quality, but wish it stored better
Great saw overall, but kind of a pain to store since it doesn’t fold up nicely

Not quite what I wanted
I wanted a smaller type of saw. This works, but isn't what I had in mind.

Cheap Japanese Ryoba Pull Saw
I wanted to get a Japanese type pull saw for woodwork. So I've only just started woodworking so cannot say how this fairs out to other brands and styles. What I can say is that it has a large, fairly comfortable, handle. Very plasticky but when you pay peanuts you don't expect to get some exotic wooden handle. The handle can be adjusted for angle but Ive had no need to do this. The blades are sharp on both sides. Even after my abuse they have remained sharp, so thats got to be a plus point. I've used this on soft wood and hard woods but in fairness mainly on beech dowel and dowl plugs. If like me you don't have the funds for better or you just don't know if you can warrant spending more then this is gonna be the Japanese saw for you.
