The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 [DVD] [2017]

I'll be the first one to say i have a love/hate relationship with the Twilight films & books. I definitely lean more towards love though ha! Don't get me wrong, i don't force this love for Twilight on anyone but i know its not for everyone! I just feel like it really pulls me in to their world, its a good way to escape. Ive said this before; I'm a romantic & i adore a good love story... Sometimes i don't even care about the cheese! :-)Anyway, on to the film! So i went to see it today with a friend- we picked today to avoid the hordes of teenage girls with Team Edward/Jacob jumpers on! I cant handle screaming teenagers! I wanted to take the film seriously! I mean its the last one ever... *sigh*I was really pleased with the film, i thought it was an excellent adaption of the book. Im glad Stephanie Meyer produced it because it kept the story true & didn't get sucked into the drama only. Don't get me wrong though there was plenty of drama! I felt Kristen Stewart played a newborn Vampire well. ( maybe being a vampire just suited her- with all the extreme emotions & such). Either way the film had a good level of action & purpose. I do also think it had a lovely feminine touch to it with some of the small details, like the credits at the end.Im trying really hard not to give any spoilers away & don't you worry, i wont. I feel very emotionally tied to the Cullen's & i think this film played on its loyal fans. There were definitely some shocking twists in the film but somehow it still stayed true to the books.I loved the ending & it just felt extremely satisfying and as soon as it finished i felt like i needed to watch it again & just thinking about it makes me want to relive it all over again!I know that these films & books aren't for everyone but for me, it was just awesome! It should also be mentioned that the soundtrack was also very good.Im definitely giving this 10 stars. Films like this truly rely on its fans becoming emotionally involved because yes its full of vampires & werewolves but more than that, its about fighting for love & the happy ending you deserve. ( I'm pretty certain most of us wish we were Bella by the end of it all!)Fave song: A thousand years- Christina Perri.Fave quote: 'now you know. No ones ever loved anyone as much as i love you.' Bella.

This is a great ending to a great series Cating in a great fight scene at the end. Bella and Edwards love story continues into marriage and the birth of their daughter culminating taken on the Vittori in the end sequence.

If you loved the books, you’ll love the movies even more! This is my favourite movie from the saga. Bought on prime and will watch again and again!

Love all twilight film's

Product: arrived safely and in good time.Having read the books, I was very interested to see what would be cut from the film as there is no way that everything could be included. Quite a bit of Bella's intial reactions to the transformation were lost and this was a wrench for me. However it was obvious this would have to be sacrificed to the running storyline. It was no surprise to see that most of the interaction with J Jenks was cut. I knew that the anti-climax ending of the book would not translate well in film-makers terms so was expecting something different... I will not spoil things but they did it brilliantly. I know that when I watched this in the cinema, the second time, I was thrilled by the reactions of the audience... the shock elements were so fantastic, characters' fates and the action sequences elicited actual physical reactions from the viewers! And it still does when watching on a smaller screen... although the bigger the better with this part of the film.My only negative... but to me quite a huge negative... was the music. Although the movie score itself was as high quality as previous films, the choice of accompanying tracks was extremely disappointing and seriously hampered the film's ability to capture every nuance. It was probably a disappointment made worse by the fact that the music choices in the previous films were so brilliant... different flavours but each film retaining a musical sense of self. This one doesn't and it really grates on me every time I watch. If I could turn off those songs, I could enjoy this much more, although the story doesn't disappoint at all.

I recently purchased this movie and was surprised and disappointed to see that the aspect ratio of it was incorrect. It was stretched out making them looking ridiculously tall and skinny. Honestly, ruined the experience. This should not be the case, especially when having purchased the film, and needs to be fixed.

Mann sollte das Buch (die Bücher) gelesen haben um zu "begreifen" was hier alles geschieht auch wenn man ohne diese Kenntnisse auch Spaß an dieser Verfilmung haben wird! Biss zum Ende der NachtDie ganze Twilight Saga wird "umgedreht" erzählt im Vergleich von allen anderen Geschichten. Es ist diese sonderbare Begegnung die diese Geschichte entstehen lässt, ohne dieser Gäbe es die ganzen Ereignisse nicht. Wer kein Zugang in Bellas Kopf findet, Ihre Gefühlswelt und "Motivation" wird verloren sein. Wir Fans landen in Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 direkt in Bellas "Vampir" Kopf.Das Intro ist sensationel!Bill Condon wird uns mit einem Medley der Vorherigen Filme alle Ereignisse die bisher geschehen sind wieder erleben lassen um uns zum Schluss die Welt als Vampir entdecken zu lassen.Der Beginn.Auch wenn hier vieles fehlt habe ich die verschienede "Zooms" genossen und liebte es wie Bill Condon den Humor der Bücher hier zu geltung brachte.Die erste JagdNicht nur, dass Vampire in übermenschliche Geschwindigkeit alles im Detail wahrnehmen können wurde hervorragend dargestellt sondern auch den Spaß an der neuen "Freiheit" konnte man mitfühlen. Edward und Bella können endlich ungezwungen auf gleichen Augenhöhe alles teilen. Die zwei Wanderer im Buch werden zu einem Kletterer - ein Kick mehr! Kristen Stewart (Bella) leistet hier Ihre schönste darstellerische Leistung, wie sie diesen unwiederstehliche Geruch wahrnimmt und dem Rausch folgt...Jacob - Bella - RenesmeeTaylor Lautner (Jacob) wird in Twilight Breaking Dawn Teil 2 seine beste darstellerische Leistung zeigen! Und Kristen Stewart (Bella) zeigt wie Gefährlich ein Vampir mit Mutterinstinkte ist. Reinster Comedy - Kino Spaß! Die Animations Arbeit auf Renesmee wird vielen nicht gefallen, da es ein sehr eingenartiges Kind ist (schon im Buch) hat dieses mich nicht irritiert.EmmettAuf das Armdrücken zwischen Emmett und Bella haben viele gehofft und wurden belohnt. Grundsätzlich hat mir Emmett in jeder Szene in diesem Film mehr als gut gefallen. Er bringt genau das in dieser Verfilmung rein was ich in den anderen Filmen ein wenig vermisst habe. Endlich wie vom Buch entsprungen!EdwardNach 4 Filme der Zurückhaltung durch Zweifel und Selbsthass, fühlt man sein Glück (obwohl dieses Wort noch untertrieben ist) er kann einfach "sein". Er kann lachen und genießen! Er ist nicht mehr das "Gefährlichste", er ist jetzt "Frei" um für Bella und seine Familie zu kämpfen ohne Kompromiss.Auch wenn Alice letzte Vision falsch ist (Sie konnte Werwölfe und Vampirhybriden bis zum Film nicht sehen)schenkt sie Edward (und gleichzeitig uns Fans) eine glückliche Zukunft und endlich kommt ein wenig von Alice und Edward "Seelenverwandschaft" und "Komplizenschaft" zur geltung!Alle VampireEs ist die Einführung selbst der Vampire die schon großartig und mit viel "Persönlichkeit" vorgestellt wurde. Auch wenn ich ein besonderes "faible" für Garett, Alistair und Benjamin hatte muss ich sagen, das ich beeindruck war, wie Bill Condon mit diesen Statuenhaften Wesen doch eine elektrische Spannung zu zeugen wusste. Ein Wort, ein Detail, ein Blick in einem bewegungslosen Raum. Die gleichen Bill Condon und Schauspieler "Feinheiten" habe ich bei den Volturi wiedergefungen.Alice - Bella - EdwardSo toll ich den Moment zwischen Bella und J.Jenks fand, muss ich sagen ich hätte gerne ein wenig mehr "Krimi" artigen Szenen wie im Buch bekommen. Diese "Kommunikation" zwischen Bella und Alice kam nur kurz rüber, aber was mir definitiv gefehlt hat, ist wie Edward weiß, dass Bella ihm etwas verbirgt aber dieses respektiert und sie nicht damit konfrontiert.Das SchachspielEine herrvoragende Inszinierung! Man ist im Buch und auch nicht. Edward hat den Überblick über alles was in jedem Kopf geschieht (wo der Umpfang hier ein wenig kürzer kommt). Doch Alice Vision für (und eingentlich auch von) Aro ist so gut zusammengestellt, dass jeder Fan (auch wenn man es weiß, dass Stephenie Meyer das Ende Ihre Geschichte nicht ändern lassen kann) wird in dieser Vision "gefangen" werden.Was ich am Kampf so geliebt habe ist, dass jeder Vampir seine "Rache" bekam, es war geschickt und mit viel "Hintergrund" geführt. Jasper kann nur besiegt werden wenn Jane Ihre Gabe einsetzt, Felix Stärke und Janes Gabe verbunden kann ein Werwolf leicht töten. Die Reaktion von Lea/Wolf auf Seth/Wolf ableben...Wie Leah/Wolf Esme "rettet" obwohl sie immer die Vampire hasste (Cullen und Quileute sind defintiv eine Familie jetzt)...wie Tanya, Kate und Garett sich Caius "schnappen"! Mit Bellas Schutzschild, wird Alice geradeweg zu Ihrem Ziel "gehen" und Jane Sam zum fraß geben, herrlich! Edward will Demetri vernichten, ich liebe einfach Edwards vernichtungs "Methode"(siehe auch Eclipse)! Und Marcus war einfach genial! Das ganze Leid seiner Geschichte in einer Haltung und einem Wort...Gänsehaut!Der Höhepunkt: Edward und Aro "gehen", mit mehr als Hass und Entschlossenheit, aufeinander los, Bella rennt um Edwards Leben und knallt kurz davor auf Aro...wir bekommen noch mehr! Ein starker (und für mich emotionnaler) Partnerkampf mit dem Band Ihrer außergewöhnliche Liebe gegen "die Macht". Ich habe es genossen!Was für mich am Ende enttäuschend war ist, dass Bella und Edward mir viel zu "menschlich" erschienen, obwohl Bill Condon uns mit dem gesamten "Ende der Twilight Saga" mit viel Ehre, für Stephenie Meyer, seine Vorgänger und uns Fans geführt hat.Ich habe vieles noch weggelassen, aber Hände weg "nicht Twilight Fans", das alles werdet ihr leider nicht "sehen" können o:).

Premetto che ho amato tutta la saga e che quindi non potevo farmi mancare il capitolo conclusivo. Cercando di essere obiettiva (e dando un giudizio non proprio da fan quale sono) ammetto che il film è molto bello, scorre in fretta, la scenografia e il montaggio eccellenti. Colonna sonora perfetta. La parte che ho amato di più è stata la battaglia; il finale non poteva essere meglio di com'è stato. Emozionante la presentazione finale di tutti gli attori che hanno fatto parte dei cinque film della saga. Il DVD con i contenuti extra mi è piaciuto molto ed è stato molto interessante scoprire come vengono girate alcune scene, il lavoro di montaggio e quant'altro. Consiglio la visione del film e, per i veri appassionati, è un DVD che non può certo mancare nella videoteca di casa.
