Great entry level razor
This is my first straight razor. I just finished using it for the first time and I must say, I am impressed for the price. I expected to have to sharpen it just to use it. It felt a bit dull, but it shaved my stubbly face, which I didn’t shave for days to test this razor, and I managed to get through the the process without cutting myself. I’m sure it could be honed better, but to pull it out of the box, hit the strap, and immediately shave with it is impressive to me.

No instructions for Strope. Ya gotta know or figure it out on ya own
Sure is a straight razor. Is sharp enough to shave and hoo boy, does it sure come with a strope.

Decent for the money
I bought this razor to see how it compares to my much more expensive Dovo. The razor itself is decent. The steel is payable and conforms well to my face while shaving but still maintains a decent edge. Durability wise, it’s ok. It didn’t come with the best edge on it so I took it to a whetstone so dial it in. I’ve gotten 3 shaves with it and it seems ok. Not as sharp as it could be but definitely not bad. The strop sucks… It seems like more of a novelty than a functional honing tool. It’ll get you started but you’ll likely replace it as the leather quality isn’t great for honing a consistent edge. Overall this is an ok setup. I’ll likely use it as my travel razor so if it gets damaged or lost I won’t be heartbroken. Update: After a month of use, I’m feeling about the same with it. The steel isn’t super hard but gives a nice “cushioned” feel while in use. It’s decent enough as long as you’re consistent with a quality strop. I appreciate the shorter face length and aggressive point for detailing. For the money it’s hard to beat. It’s no Dovo or Boker but it’s not bad. It’s found its place as my travel razor. On a side note, the black coating does wear off easily. It doesn’t affect the quality of the shave. It just aesthetically isn’t perfect.

Good for a beginner
I've read every review before ordering. I don't know maybe some is AI bots. But reading that it was shave ready upon delivery. I disagree. I found it dragging. The strop is basically nothing.invest in a proper one. I have sharpening stones and strops. I started shaving stopped after a couple strokes and broke out the stone and strops. Then finished my face. It doesn't hold edge well so I'll have to rinse and repeat after every shave. for a beginner with straight razors it'll due but eventually you are definitely going to want to upgrade to a trusted brand. Or do the new fangled blade replacement things..im old school. Hope this review helps .

Strop before you shave.
It’s not as sharp as disposable half-blades, and they leave some stubble below the ear near the jawline. It’s a hard spot to get with the long blade. – But if you strop it before you start, though the blade may be like using import Asmusebats, they leave a clean shave. I didn’t get any cut on my skin on the first use. You also have to push a little harder. I just don’t think they cut as deep as disposable half-blades. Plus you get a finer quality with the disposables. Overall, nice to keep as a choice. If you don’t want to waste your half-blades and just clean your beard up in a hurry, get one of these. – Going out? Use a half-blade.

Great value priced blade
Arrived as advertised. VERY sharp and in great shape. After stropping the blade about 30 times, it gave me a smooth shave with no tearing or pulling.

Absolute worst shave i've ever had
Took it straight out of the package, stropped, and shaved with it, well, tried to. It was more dull than a fish knife. Shave sharp is NOT hard to do, even in a cheap factory, but this wasn't even good enough to shave with. After a pass, full of catches and pulls, it almost looked like I just scraped the cream off. Strop is also not great, the linen side is fine, but the "leather" side feels and looks like a vinyl swatch. Don't waste your time and money.

Great straight razor
I have no dislikes about this razor. This razor is a great tool for any man who loves a smooth lasting shave. Once you learn how to sharpen it, and how to use it on your face and neck, you will have a life long tool in your shaving arsenal. With a razor sharp edge that you must periodically put on the blade, you will have no bleeds. Needs sharpening out of the box. You should learn how for yourself, or pay someone to do it. I find that sharpening my straight razors is just part of having a nice shave. I encourage you to purchase a sharpening kit. This too is a life long purchase.
