Nongshim Ramen Noodles, Gourmet Instant Ramen, Premium Microwavable Noodle Soup, Vegan Shin Green, 4.4 Ounce (Pack of 4)

The noodles in the package are pretty standard for this brand, curly pretty firm and chewy when cooked well. The seasoning packs and toppings are where this Ramen stands out. There are two dry seasoning packets a green and a red, then there is a small packet of fried tofu and mushrooms to top it. While the amount of tofu and mushrooms are sparse they do enhance the dish substantially. There is a substantial amount of heat not overwhelming but a good kick off spiciness.The noodles turned out well with both cooking on the stovetop and microwave.I bought my package out of curiosity but the price is a bit high to buy all the time, there are larger Nong Shin packages for less. So far this is my favorite soupy Ramen.

The spice and broth are separate so you can control your spice level. I love adding soft boiled egg or extra veggies like peas and corn to this too! You can get really creative. It’s very filling! Happy to have found something so yummy and vegetarian friendly.

Not my absolute favorite flavor of ramen in general but it's probably my second favorite flavor from this brand. I actually like mixing it with chicken bouillon occasionally when I'm feeling extra salt deprived; I think that the flavors go fantastic together.A lot of times when you buy ramen online the noodles are stale (I like eating it dry sometimes) but I rarely have that problem with this brand or at the very least they'll only be ever so slightly stale instead of terribly stale. Excellent, really.

Way, way, too hot and spicy for us.Next time. Maybe half a spice packet.

Let me start out with this is a Shin product so you know quality is foremost. The taste, the tofu and mushrooms were so flavorful and the texture was exquisite, even the second day when I ate the remaining noodles. This is worth the extra cost from normal and am trying to ration the remaining packs to try and make it a month before having the next delivery. Try it and you'll see!

The broth is a little thicker than the Shin Black's, the flavor is very good and mildly spice. A small packet of tofu pieces is included and have an okay texture to them. I added an egg, some greens and several cubes of fresh firm tofu. I'm glad I tried it for some variety over the Black version.

Great flavor and spiciness. I would like to see these offered for the reasonable price of $2 or under per single pack. That would be comparable to the price of other Shin Ramyon varieties when purchased at a retail store.
