Iron Giant (Metallic) Select Action Figure

Paint scheme on figure is really nice. Gives a worn look and feel to the figure. Love it!

People are saying this action figure feels weak. It does feel like it's gonna break, While also feeling like it's insanely strong. but you can tell. It's probably not. I've been messing around with it for the past, like 3 hours to see if it will it hasn't. It's pretty sturdy. It just feels a little bit weaker with the hands and stuff. The one thing that it did take a while to figure out was how to put the robot arm on remove the forearm. You don't keep it on your remove the forum and then there's like a joint that connects into it. It's a little bit hard to figure out at first, but it's pretty good. Also, that LED's do shine through the head. So what I would do is probably just tape like the bottom head. If you really don't like how that looks but possibly for me, I think it looks pretty cool. So I would recommend it, but you don't have to get it if you don't want to. It's extremely good for 30 bucks though, especially nowadays. But because. Of it coming late And it feeling a little bit weak, I'm just gonna put it as 4 stars. I would rate it 5 if those 2 things were to have happened, but it is a good Action figure.

He's way sturdier than other reviewers are saying-maybe we just got a good one. The finish on his metal is really cool-at a distance, he looks metallic, not plastic like others we looked at. Styled like a model, sturdy and able to be played with like a toy, and at a great price

I missed out on the Iron Giant figures when the movie was out and I've been kicking myself for that since then. That's a long time to kick one's self so I have a lot of bruises. I stumbled on this figure at a comic con and couldn't pass it up. I read some of the reviews here after buying it and was a little worried about the quality of it but once I opened it I was satisfied. The plastic does feel a little brittle and I think it would have benefitted from something with a little more give to it but I can't really complain as I've had no serious issues so far. I've put every joint through its paces and they've all worked just fine - they move smoothly and have just enough resistance to maintain the pose. The only issue I've had is that the socket for the left hand is very tight with the extra hands. The hand that came installed is easy to remove and put back, but the other hands cause a lot of resistance. It seems to be loosening up a bit after removing and replacing them a number of times, however. Just be careful the first few times so you don't break anything.I'm thrilled with how the eyes glow. That sounds like a minor thing but usually when figures have light-up eyes they're always kind of dim and lackluster. These glow just like they did in the film with a pretty powerful amount of light. That said, the light used to power the eyes is located in the top part of the neck and does shine down onto the shoulders and upper body a bit. Not the end of the world but it would have been nice for them to light-block that. The switch is decently hidden on the back in the space between his shoulder blades.Lots of flexibility - the head turns and pivots up and down. The jaw moves and holds its position. The torso can flex up and down and turn. Arms can pivot up and down and rotate fully while the forearms have an elbow joint that allows for the forearms to rotate as well. Each hand has a pivot at the wrist but none of them have opening fingers. The legs are on balljoints that allow full rotation but only about 30 degrees of angle (which, realistically, is more than enough.) Like the forearms, the lower legs bend and rotate. The feet only angle forward and back, no side-to-side angle so you'll have to position the legs to make sure the feet are flat on the ground. They each do, however, have a nice detail of a functional piston in the back. The complaints are very minor - mainly I'm not a fan of the metallic-grey plastic it's molded in. It's been given a wash of black to age it a little and create some definition but I think I would have preferred that they painted it like the more expensive version so that it looked more like the film. I also wish they'd included a Hogarth figure but again that's in the more expensive set too.

No se xq razón dice q es de metal. Es plástico completo. Por todo lo otro esta perfecto en luces detalle y pintura. Buenas articulaciones también

Figure doesn’t feel good and I’m too afraid of breaking it when I pose it. Specially in the head. Also, I would like to mention the fact that the figures eyes light up! I did not know that at all when I bought it. I also didn’t know about most accessories it came with. But I say it’s not really worth it. Don’t get the wrong idea about this guy, he’s cool but you'd think he’s at least a bit heavier. He's so light that standing him straight up is such a pain. I also would NOT want an iron giant figure that’s made of real iron because that would make it a lot worse. I’m happy.. ish with what this is. I really don’t know what I’d want more from this thing. Other than loosening the joints just by a bit. And making his legs just a bit heavier because he’s too top heavy. Great figure though. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re an iron giant fan.

Box came open and wrecked. I was planning to leave him in the original packaging but that's not an option now.

Very posable except the feet and head, making it hard for him to strike a real squat pose. I wish the LED also didnt shine under his head But overall, good action figure. Comes with some hand gestures and arm cannon as well.

The best part of this is that you have a lot of options for poses. It comes with 3 pairs of hands, and his gun. The figure stands on his own with not much positioning assistance.The one con about this is that his head doesnt look down much. The light in his head isnt cut off by anything so it leaks down onto his neck

Le daría 5 estrellas de calificación porque el producto sencillamente es excelente en relación al precio que me costó.Si eres de los coleccionistas que prefieren mantenerlo dentro del empaque es muy probable que te decepciones, ya que lo envían en una bolsa, como muestro en las fotos.Aunque pienso sacarlo del empaque, no me gusta que envíen esté tipo de productos así. El mío llegó un poquito maltratado de las esquinas :/
