Well Worth the Read
Well laid out book with empirical evidence noted. A very good book for a beginning, younger investor. The book will help you get a rational path to building long-term wealth.

I Didn’t Know That
This book taught me that I did not know as much about investing as I had thought. I feel much wiser after reading Ben’s book.

Perhaps the best book on investing I have ever found!
Perhaps the best book on investing I have ever found, this book makes a - perhaps the -compelling case for investing in equity index funds over time.

Straightforward, easy to digest
Straightforward and easy to read and understand. Love all the footnotes detailing the research. Makes the case for investing in low cost index funds and to stay in it for the long term. Describes why it is not advantageous to try to time the market. Also cautions when interest rates/inflation is high or possibility of recession to back away from all the “expert” talking heads, as to not make fear based decisions.

This book is a life saver, seriously
This book neatly and quickly summarises all the best thinking in personal investment. Having been extremely fortunate to inherit a sum of money, I got to know a bunch of seemingly well meaning wealth managers based in Switzerland who befuddled my normally calm head with, for instance, crypto, gold, private markets, structured products and a whole bunch of other stuff. So much stuff in fact, it completely paralysed me. Ben's book completely unconfused me and simplified everything. Now I can get on with my life and not worry about investments, or worry about missing out - knowing I'm getting the best returns. He calmly answered every question I'd ever asked on the subject using evidence based learnings and Warren Buffet style common sense. The time and fees I'm saving pays for this book a thousand times over. Thanks Ben.

Top Pick for Novice Investors
I know Ben from my school days at Guelph. Go Gryphons!!!I am somewhat of an investment/finance enthousiast myself and have read 20+ personal finance books and I'd say he makes the best case for why index funds is the most practical way to invest your money. I appreciated his incorporation of academic literature and how it was conveyed in a simple matter. This is definitely a book I'd recommend to someone very green in investing as it doesn't have to be complicated to build wealth and can make it seem less intimidating.

Good Book
The author has written two books, both of which contain sections on real estate investing. Those sections should be required reading for anyone thinking about starting in real estate investing.
