Games are finally playable on iPad!
This thing is great. Essentially turns your iPad into a Nintendo switch-style device. Much easier to play games the way they were intended (including Modern Combat 5, pictured). Also great for PS4 with the R-Play app. Don’t hesitate: get one!

Causes ipad games to crash
Nice (stolen from Nintendo) concept and everything. But this device renders MFI compatible games unplayable due to constant and inevitable crashing and device resets during games. For months i thought it was a problem with the game i was playing as well as my device. But when i ditched gamevice for a steel series nimbus. Suddenly the device resets and app crashes went away.

Serious issues with signals from buttons and knobs
Reviewed for an older version.I bought this controller to use with my iPad, with a Tello drone. I immediately started having issues. L1 L2 button transmit intermittent clicks, turning the drone's video recording on, then immediately off again. The control knobs are not always consistently responsive, making it dangerous to fly the drone at high speed. I didn't know if theses control issues were related to the Tello drone app, on my iPad mini, so I installed 2 controller test apps. These test apps confirmed that the Gamevice buttons sometimes transmit extra signals, and that the knobs produce "jerky", erratic signals.

Better than nothing. I'll keep using it until something good comes along, I guess.
Actual value: $15. Maaaybe $30, if I'm being generous. Some review context: I've been using this for over a week now to play games on iPad and remote play games on PS4 and XBox One. When playing directly on my PS4 and XBox One, I have a NACON Revolution Pro 2 and an Elite Controller, respectively. I use studio headphones with my iPad because the iPad audio build is very high quality.Pros:- Is a dual-analog controller for the iPad.- Attaches to the iPad in a way that distributes weight ergonomically, helping to reduce wrist fatigue or injury.- iPad can be charged while the Gamevice is attached.- Reasonably sturdy build.- As per Apple's MFi standard, does not have those awful L3 and R3 buttions. (Good riddance!)Cons:- Audio port is of the worst quality possible! (TL;DR: Headphone support SUCKS. / I'm not a person who uses that word often. When connected to my headphones, the Gamevice output is much quieter than the iPad output. It is, in fact, so bad that the Gamevice introduces a static wave to the audio output. Clearly, a signal reflection is taking place because the Gamevice is not electrically designed to drive headphones with 50 ohms of impedance. If you have low-impedance headphones, I am guessing you will not suffer. But, why not get yourself some great headphones to enjoy? You have an iPad that outputs truly wonderful audio. This Gamevice, on the other hand, does not. In the end I resorted to sliding the left side of the Gamevice up high enough that I could just plug my headphones in to the iPad directly. This led to the Gamevice holding the iPad screen button down and raising the "turn power off" prompt. So, I also wedged a small spacer under the top-left of the Gamevice to lift it off of that button. This leads to never being able to grip the left side of the Gamevice in a comfortable way...a problem I have yet to solve.)- Buttons take too much mechanical force to depress, leading to thumb fatigue, pain, and eventual injury. (This repetitive stress pain is the reason I have purchased professional grade controllers for PS4 and XBox One. Maybe someday a professional grade iPad controller will exist... This is definitely not it.)- Buttons presses don't always register, leading to urge to throw iPad across room. (Probably related to the above design issue. I sometimes experience this in native iPad games; so, it is not an issue with a PS4 or XB1 network connection.)- As per Apple's MFi standard, does not replace L3 and R3 functionality with any alternative buttons. (Eg. has no M1 and M2 paddles.)Conclusion: This product is better than nothing, and I continue to use it. But! It is very overpriced for the feature quality delivered. The feature set is great. The feature quality has a lot of room for improvement ergonomically and audio-wise.

Great product but check first on their website if it support the game you are planning to play with.
The quality/feel is amazing, very well done. I bought it to play PUBG on Ipad but it didn't support it. So i had to return it. I really suggest you to CHECK FIRST which game does it support, on their web site ( I learn this after contact them ) because it cannot be used for all the games on the market. It is up to the developer of the game to decide if you can use this item. Again, it looks, feel amazing but CHECK FIRST which games are you planning to play with this Controller.

Works great
My son got this for Xmas 2017 and it still works great. It works also for Roblox and many other games for the iPad.
