Although i bought these in July they have been an excellent fly deterrent i use them constantly. they are great when cooking or if your preparing food you switch these on and not one fly will come near the food. my only issue is and i have tried to have it resolved however cannot contact seller is that one of the plug in ports has broken away meaning it now only works by battery, also when i checked they are now over double the price i paid so i wont be returning them great little items,

Great product, works well, flies, wasps and other flying insects don't quite know how to react. Also good talking point at the picnic table.

My mistake but I thought these were rechargeable via a USB cable but they are NOT! They can be used with batteries and therefore quite 'mobile' or plugged into the mains on a very short cable which makes them almost useless unless you have plugs very near to tables???? When I tried them out they had to stand on the floor or on the kitchen worktop but up against the wall!! I have returned them for a rechargeable version as I really want to use them outside!!! Sad because the quality looked good and they worked well when plugged in!!

Great product well worth purchasing does the job

These will be used during outdoor eating as we are frequent 'campers' and during a trip to Spain this summer we were plagued by flies. We saw a neighbouring couple had one on their table whilst eating and there were no sign of any flies bothering them. We asked where they had bought them and they told us 'Amazon' 😃 so we quickly ordered two. They were simple to assemble, and are very quiet whilst operating.

We used it in our garden picnic and it works great, flies did not land on our grilled food and wasps wander around a little but left without drinking our juices or alcohol. They are still around the sitting area and other parts of the garden but not near the food, the bendy rod allows the fins to get close to the food and deter the most resilient bug. I guess this is like using your hands and wave around to get the flies away but this is just a bit more effective with the shiny tape and also the battery will last many many hours with 2AA batteries (Not included) It does not make any noise and the fins will stop as soon as you reach the food and it touches you skin, does not hurt and will not affect the motor/unit. It has a D ring under the base so it can be hang from a branch or celling and away from the table.

I will admit I was skeptical about them at first until the first use and they work great. I own a restaurant with outdoor dining in Georgia with a lot of gnats and mosquitoes. We put one on a guest table and literally the bugs were flying behind the diners but the table and guest were big free. Buying more now.

This product worked just like it said it was and did an excellent job of keeping the flies away. The fan was quiet, and the battery lasted for the 3-4 hours we used it. The fan speed was perfect to keep the bugs away and not too fast that it hurt people's hands if it hit it. I recommend that everyone has these types of fans at our door events when food is served.
