Amazing deal for $10. Good fan and well made with the lack of noise from the fan motor. I haven't had the chance to try it outside so I can't say the cooling plate is effective in the open air but it literally feels nearly like a ice cube when the metal plate held against the skin and isn't because it's made of metal. It has a real NTC chip that takes hot air on one side and makes it cool on the other side, which makes the peltier effect on the metal plate. Basically a pretty inefficient heat pump but good for individual use like this. The LED flashlight is a neat addition and the light throw is like an 90s flashlight. Straight light beam and not thrown to the sides but brighter than the 90s flashlight. It does show the cheapness of the plastic but it's forgivable for the price point and giving you a real rechargeable lithium battery that is high capacity for the size. Thinking back to 90s flashlights, all of the cheap ones were like this as well. They lit up the plastic enclosure. This item gives you all that and a fan built in for the same size. You would be losing out if you don't buy this. PS: It's a minor thing but the base is a little undersized. I gave it light taps on a desk and it didn't fall down so it's not as bad as others have posted. Just leave it out of easy reach so you don't knock it down. There are other models on Amazon with a base they slot into with a notch for your phone to rest in if that's important for you but you certainly wouldn't get that and the device for $10. I say this is an awesome investment for dealing with these harsh summers.

I originally purchased this for a summer wedding that will be outside. When I use it outside, it just moves the air around. You can't tell when you turn the colder option. BUT when inside and having a hot flash, it works great. You can actually feel the "cold" option. So in short, works best when it's not 102 degrees outside. LOL

Cooling cools the plate, but the air absolutely not at all, and I tested with a thermometer. Only reason keeping is because don’t want to go through the hassle of returning, but it does work well as a somewhat heavy hand fan. You can push the cool plate against your skin to feel better, but really isn’t cooling anything.

Would not blow cold air like described and only the plate in the middle gets slightly cold. Did not make a difference when really hot/warm out.

This is a great, small (about 7-1/2" tall), personal fan. The fan has 3 speeds. It also has an extra cooling mode - this extra cooling mode cools off the silver cooling plate, creating the fan to be cooler. The unit has added functionality - there is a flashlight on the bottom of the fan. If you click the button 2 times - it becomes a flashing, flashlight for emergency signal. It comes with a type-c charging port and cable.

Ein fast perfekter Handventilator. Und nicht nur. Denn im Griff ist sogar noch eine kleine LED verbaut, damit kann mann den Ventilator auch als Taschenlampe benutzen. Der Ventilator selbst hat 3 Stufen, gut differenziert, es kommt auch genug Luft an, je nach Abstand, logisch. Das verbaute Peltier - Element sorgt dafür dass die mittige Metallplatte ganz schnell und stark abkühlt, damit auch den run um vorhandenen Radiator leicht abkühlt und dann auch die durchgehende Luft ebenso (leicht) herunterkühlt. Klar, bei so einem kurzen Luftweg ist keine starke Kühlung möglich, aber immerhin, besser als gar nichts :) Die Kühlplatte wird für eine Kontaktkühlung beworben, daher alles in Ordnung. Die Akkulaufzeit könnten besser sein (die Kühlfunktion saugt doch stark dran), aber für den Preis muss man mehr als zufrieden sein. Von mir aus 5 verdiente Sterne und ein: "äußerst empfehlenswert". Der Ventilator ist der Hammer! Er hat drei verschiedene Geschwindigkeitsstufen und kühlt mit einem Knopfdruck dazu. Nach ca. 1 Minute ist das silberne Teil vorne am Ventilator kalt, schon fast gefroren und es bilden sich kleine Wassertropfen. Dadurch kommt kalte Luft zurück. On Top ist unten am Stand eine Taschenlampe eingebaut die nach nochmaligen drücken blinkt. Dieser Ventilator kühlt wirklich. Ich bin jahrelanger Kunde von Amazon und schreibe sonst nie Bewertungen, aber dieser Ventilator ist wirklich der Hammer. Kauft ihn euch Leute!
