Works fine on my 2007 Forester, which has recently been throwing up the MIL light. Previously I had to take the car in to the dealer to reset the light - which, on the Forester, results in a totally destroyed idling performance until the control system relearns itself. Getting the car back home in this condition is a major undertaking. Now I can reset the light at home, and carry out an accelerated learning procedure on the spot. At the price every car owner should have one of these devices.

I've got a 2007 Ford focus ST 2.5, instructions state it works with all Euro cars after 2001. This product would not communicate with the car at all. The st has a Volvo engine I thought this may be a problem, but I have just got dedicated software for ford and a lead which you use via your pc and this worked perfectly, also from Amazon and only £14.99. Maby the reader is faulty, or just not suitable for ALL cars! Sent back for refund, best thing about Amazon!

Worked perfect on my 2008 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8vvt. Was able to retrieve the fault code and clear it.

it reads and clears the faults as it says, but it don't clear the orange warning lights on the dash as I thought it would.

What a Godsend this device was for me. Had a problem with my Vauxhall Astra 07 plate, and the Engine Management light had come on, with some terribly sluggish pickup and rumbling idle. Plugged this in, read the codes straight away, and the accompanying booklet told me that it was cylinder misfiring causing the issue. Changed the coil pack and car right as rain again.The backlit display is excellent for troubleshooting in the dark, or in shadow in the car.This DOES give you the option of clearing the fault code, but I chose not to, letting it clear itself to prove the coil pack change had done the job. Something to bear in mind if you use it.Buying this saved me paying a garage to diagnose the fault, and paid for itself, and then some, on its first use. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Molto soddisfatto. Visto il prezzo irrisorio avevo qualche dubbio però nel mio caso ha fatto il suo dovere. Errore rilevato e cancellato. Stessa diagnosi fattami da un' officina con apparecchiature sicuramente più sofisticate. Per il fai da te, secondo me, è ottimo. Io l'ho usato su Peugeot 207 del 2010.P.SA volte può segnalare guasti multipli per la stessa anomalia di conseguenza bisogna resettare errore e al ripresentarsi dello stesso fare una nuova diagnosi prima di intervenire per riparare il guasto. Comunque tutto ciò è bene farlo anche se si fa diagnosi in officina. Con l'elettronica dei motori moderni spesso è difficile che al primo colpo si individui il guasto al 100%. Difatti capita molto spesso che i meccanici se ne approfittino sostituendo pezzi con la scusa che la diagnosi ha dato il tal errore.

Yo lo he utilizado con mi BMW y me ha funcionado. Me ha borrado errores mecánicos (en las instrucciones indican que otros como airbags o ventanillas, que era uno de los que yo tenía no pueden borrarse y es cierto), pero no es magia, si tienes una avería, al concesionario te toca ir. Por su precio es una herramienta muy recomendable. Las instrucciones son poco claras, pero es muy intuitivo, rapidamente te haces con ello. Solo detecta códigos (algunos tienes que buscarlos en internet) y los borra, no los guarda en memoria ni puede hacer cosas complicadas como poner una batería como recien instalada o recuperar un auxiliar de una radio desconfigurada. Aun así, muy recomendable
