Rubber-Cal Treadmill Mat

We bought two of these, one to go under a Nordic Track x22 incline treadmill (I mention the brand because this treadmill is a beast, larger dimensions than most home treadmills and very heavy and thus was having a hard time finding an economical solution that wasn’t too small) and the other to go under a home gym, both of which would be resting on hardwood floors. We ended up going with a different solution for the home gym, but the one for the treadmill is excellent. Solid, heavy and doing its job well. The other we actually cut up smaller to use under an elliptical. We had bought another brand (read: cheaper) for it and man, that thing was a piece of junk. These mats are awesome, not super thick but nice and dense. They stay flat too, unlike the cheap one that would not flatten out no matter how much time we gave it.

It fit well and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I had read the reviews and some mentioned a rubber smell and other did not. I didn't notice it that much when I took it out of the box but it got steadily worse. By the time I realized it was pretty bad, the smell had already permeated half the house so I just left it. In hindsight, it would have been an excellent idea to roll it out in the garage or outside for a couple of days before you bring it in the house. The smell went away in a few days but it might be a problem to those who are really sensitive to odors. I suspect this is characteristic of most mats. Just leave it outside to air for a couple of days to air out and it will be totally fine. Overall, it's a great mat.

I could not be more satisfied with my purchase of my treadmill mat. The length I chose was 6.5ft roll and that is all you need.Fit to the treadmill like a glove to a hand.The mat is completely durable. I was concerned to order sight unseen because I didn't want a thin flimsy mat. I wanted a mat that was substantial and I found it in this product. A must have to complete your treadmill purchase. You will be glad you made the decision to invest in purchasing this product. It will protect the base of your treadmill. Also the mat prevents damage to your floors and secures the treadmill in place so it isn't unsteady while you enjoy your workout.Highly recommended, an absolute great buy.

Nice and thick and heavy duty. It does the job real nice. Only issue it does have a smell like rubber that fills the room that is slowly fading away.

I bought the 6.5 foot mat for my daughter who recently purchased a Precor 9.23 treadmill. The Precor is 81 inches long and 31 inches wide, the treadmill fit on the mat with plenty of room to the side and just right on the length. Since the 9.23 has 3.0 HP continuous duty motor (and the lift unit generates up to 700 lbs of thrust) it's a heavy bugger and weighs in at 227 pounds. The mat seems like a very good match, heavy duty recycled rubber which lays flat with no smell. My daughter's cat loved the mat and instantly adopted it.

I am a workout guru, I have several workout equipment and this product has worked well to protect my floor and the devices that sit upon it. Actually this is my third purchase of this product. I highly recommend it and even though I have only two thumbs I give a three thumb rating, five star using amazon rating scale.

I just rolled this out for my treadmill to go on. It seems fine. Only issue I have is with the Sasquatch footprints it came with. I don’t mind purchasing used products but if you’re going to sell used, you should not advertise that something is new.

Perfect fit, I got the smaller size. I did not notice any odor like other reviewers have stated. I took it out of the box, no odor. I left it rolled up for a couple of days, no odor. I put it under the treadmill several days ago and no odor. Hoping my luck holds! I think it was a little expensive, so hoping it holds up under regular use. I will return in a few weeks if anything changes.

perfect size for our treadmill.

I bought this for my new treadmill and it is very good quality. The following week I saw a similar mat at Costco for $20 so I bought 2 for my home gym. I laid this and the Costco one side by side and they are identical, same thickness and density. I was happy with this until I found out that I can get the similar mat locally for 1/4 the price.

Works great under our treadmill, it was about 6" wider than we needed so I cut it with heavy scissors and now it's perfect. It stunk for a week or so, but it's rubber, so what do you expect?
