Bought this for a family camping trip. It was perfect. Add water to the top, plug it in and you’re all set. The remote is great for adjusting the speed of the fan and to control the amount of mist. The slats can be adjusted to control where the air is blowing as well. Bottom tray catches water from condensation. Fill it up once and run it on full mist and on high for several hours. Has lights in the water tank as well which look pretty cool at night. A great way to keep cool outside when sitting and relaxing.

This cooler is pretty versatile it can be used not only as a fan, but also as a cooler when water is filled, I like the fact that it’s small in size and portable. It’s also light and easy to use. It doesn’t use much power and thereby light on electricity bill. I should mention that the cooling power may not be as great for a large room, but just enough for a small space it’s more like a personal space cooler or fan.

Initially the machine worked like advertised and demonstrated a nice cool breeze and was satisfying. However when I began to use it the next day I refilled to enjoy the nice cool breeze in my travel trailer instead of all 5 mist ports working I only was able to see 2 and the other 3 just dripped and it filled the well at the base within a minute and spit water all over my table. I used bottled water and tried a second time and the same result. It’s a great concept and worked great initially but unfortunately the mist system didn’t work and I returned it.

I ended up buying a fan at Walmart that was much tinier for ten bucks and it cools down almost my whole room when I don’t need air conditioning even if you use ice and water it’s a bad product wished I wouldn’t have purchased now it is just in the box.

Working from home means that I have to run the AC all the time to cool my home office. Unfortunately, this means that I get massive headaches from the dry air. My nose also tends to get dry and close up(!) making it difficult to breathe. This fan has been such a blessing. The misty air allows me to breathe again with ease and as an added bonus helps normalize the humidity in my room a bit, minimizing static buildup which can be very harmful to my expensive equipment. Also no headaches yet. Win win and win!

I found a great use for this that I doubt many have thought of. First of all most of you should know that this fairly cheap device is NOT a portable air conditioner at all. It is what would be classified as an air cooler or evaporative cooler. This actually works great if used in moderate temps or low humidity environments. The misting function feels very good. But even ice cold water will do almost nothing in a hot humid area.But this works pretty amazing with a Heat Exchanger. This is basically water cooling, where ice cold water runs through pipes and releases cold dry air much like a real conditioner. You then put this fan flat up against the Heat Exchanger and it will blow the cold air towards you. No need to use the misting function which adds humidity to the air.I use this setup out on my porch on hot days and if you sit no more than a foot away with the vents angled up at you on the fastest speed setting, this actually works better at keeping me cool than other more powerful fans I've tried to use. Because the design of this fan allows you to easily suck the cold air directly from the vents of the Heat Exchanger. An insulated 5 gallon bucket with a Gallon jug of Ice or Ice Packs will give you hours of comfort sitting outside without the sweat. 😁As for the actual Fan, it's pretty good quality for the price. It's not a super powerful fan but it gets the job done if you are sitting close to it and the air flow is impressive for the air it does push out. My favorite part is how simple and effective the vent in front of the fan is. You can easily direct the air to your chest or face.Works great as a Humidifier and the tank holds quite a bit of water. Since this does not have a rechargeable battery you will want a good size USB power bank if you want to use it for hours. I love the handle to carry it around. The lid seals nicely so the water doesn't leak. 4 sturdy plastic feet unfold underneath which make this thing Rock solid stable on a flat table. It's got 4 fan speeds. Setting 1 works well if you want it quiet to sleep in a cool air conditioned room. Setting 4 is what I always use outdoors but will need a decent battery bank to use it for a long time.Overall I didn't expect to end up liking this fan as much as I do. I can definitely recommend it even if you don't use it for exotic purposes like I do. 😄

So typically, these are sold as a scam AC. What they really do is just pump a mist from water into the fan that feels cool. Now this one does not have a battery so you can't just take it anywhere. However, I think this is the best one of these things I have bought. There is a huge difference between this, and the smaller "chill" cubes seen on "TV". I use it for cool downs during VR gaming sessions, mowing the lawn, hangovers (great!), relaxing after work and sleeping.

I purchased this for a hunting cabin I purchased. It doesn’t cool a small space unless you’re right next to it.
