Love this product
Bought the Extra-Large version M572 and was ever so impressed with it. Have now used the M572 on my smaller squash veg bed and this giant version on my larger squash veg bed. It's my first year of growing veg in the back garden and ever since I heard about those dreaded Squash Vine Borers (or SVB as they call it!) I was extremely worried about my squash seedings!Had been looking for the 'ultimate-uber-ultra-super mesh', and I am so glad I stumbled upon this product! When I received it I was really pleased with its strength, and I reckon it lets through 85~90% of sunlight, as well as allowing very good natural ventilation. But - the most important thing of all is it gives me reassurance that so long as I am careful when doing hand pollination (temporarily lifting a small area of the mesh) it keeps out the SVBs and the Squash Bugs!!One thing I'd add is unlike the advertised instruction of using dirt to seal all sides - I wasn't sure if that would be sufficient given my garden attracts lots of cats, foxes, birds etc who may shift the dirt! I went for the nuclear option and used Scottish pebbles to seal all sides - not only uber-ultra secure but also pleasant on the eye! Namo Amituofo.

Good Purchase
Have used the mesh down our allotment this year. Everything grown underneath has done really well, no bugs, or loss of crop. Has also cut the need for using insecticide, which is a bonus. We have a fairly large plot and did not cover some cauliflowers and broccoli that we grow on another part of it and loss them all.So worth the investment in my opinion. Well made, with non fray edges ( which in my experience you don't get if you buy from a retailer that cuts you a length from a roll).

5mm which is fine enough to keep virtually all pests out cabbage white ...
I bought a couple for use on our allotment mainly to protect brassicas from cabbage white fly (which are tiny). The mesh is approx. 0.5mm which is fine enough to keep virtually all pests out cabbage white fly included. Water passes through the mesh unhindered so doesn't need to be removed when watering the crops. The only down side is that a lot of care has to be taken to ensure pests aren't already on the crops as covering with the Enviromesh traps them in and effectively protects them from preditors.I have used this before - fixed to frames for crop protection but have found that the use of adjustable support to keep the mesh off the plants much better, more convenient and a more flexible solution all round. Our oldest Enviromesh covers are a few years old, have always remained outside and are still in reasonable condition.

best value ever
it is big. it is resistant. it protects from pests. it creates a micro ecosystem helping both keeping moisture of the ground and offering protection from cold temperatures. I bought one last year and this year 2.

Good quality mesh
I used this for covering my vegetable patch. Good quality and looks strong enough. The mesh lets light and water through but should keep out the butterflies and other veggie destroyers. I have it draped over a frame. The reason I only gave 4 stars is that when you push securing pegs through, the mesh tears a bit. Not too bad though and I maybe being a bit harsh. I will see how it lasts into next season. It's certainly the best I've tried and would recommend to all gardeners.

Does what it says
This net works really well and and does what it claims to do. It's well made and I would like to think it contributes to my bumper harvest I'm currently enjoying. So why the 3 stars? It is overpriced. I only noticed other similar nets at 5 times less than what I bought it for. There is nothing special about it and works as well as others I bought for a fiver. It's good but I would probably never buy it again due to the price. However do those who don't mind being ripped off, definitely give it a try.

One of the best garden products I've ever bought
I bought this to use on my veg plot last summer, and it's the best thing I've ever done! It kept my cabbages and brussels sprouts pest-free and the plants grew better than they have ever done before. It was an absolute treat to be able to harvest my veg without finding them full of the larva of the cabbage white butterfly, which has happened previously. We had to raise it on canes as the plants grew but it was worth the effort of doing that, especially for the sprouts which were struggling to push up the mesh. The whole piece was larger than needed for the whole veg plot so I cut a length off, which I was able to use later when only a small part of the plot needed protecting. It's a little fiddly to handle if you're on your own, but it can be done and is definitely a product I would recommend to anyone needing to protect their veg.

Can snag
Looks good but easy to snag, if there’s any edges with a snag it will find it and drag/bunch layers together causing a hole so be careful. If this does happen though you can usually slide them back along to mend it within reason.
