The steps are a firm plastic material, but they feel solid, not cheap, and seem built to last. The 900-pound weight capacity is more than enough for me being 6' 200 pds. Both my wife and I need it for around-the-house activities and maintenance.One of the standout features is its compact, foldable design. It's easy to store and transport, making it perfect for those with limited space. The lightweight design is also a plus, allowing for effortless movement, I have no trouble carrying it around, and neither does my 5' wife.It looks well-built and feels stable while on it which is key, the steps are non-slip so you feel very safe on it. I've been on the top 4th step stretching to reach what I needed in my home and I felt very safe. I like the dark brown color, it won't look dirty in a few years of use. When folded the weight is to one side, so you can lean it against a wall with it fully against the wall, which I love. The steps are anti-slip and the ladder has great balance, so it’s super safe. All in all, it’s a very functional ladder in all ways. An easy 5/5.

No assembly required! It is safe and sturdy with a nice width to the steps and a handle. It folds flat for easy storage. At 70 years of age I am able to move it easily and feel comfortable climbing the steps to do things like interior paint. And with Amazon prime it shipped quickly.

Ladder is very stout and the foldout tray is useful. The unit snaps open firmly and I have lifted tools and myself to the 4th step and the ladder was solid! Folds neatly away.

I was tired of pulling out my heavy adjustable ladder out of my garage anytime I needed to reach a high place around my home. This Kingrack step ladder does the job. I can easily reach the top shelf of my kitchen cabinet or the gutters outside of my house. The ladder is not heavy and easy to fold and unfold, and can support my weight very easily.

First think I noticed was that The construction is not flimsy. Next was the finish which was beautiful. Looking at the tread, I realized the size and the anti-skid attention to detail the KingrRack ladder was a definite plus.The locking mechanism appears secure with a positive snap to give it security when opened.Very impressive, and it will be much more comfortable for most of my need than the step ladder with its narrow rungs that after awhile hurt my feet.If this is reflective of their quality, I won't hesitate to seek them out for purchases within their product line in the future. This ladder is surprisingly sturdy and more useful than my 3-step ladder. I can reach the eave of my roof without feeling like I'm going to fall off. It stores away neatly as it's super-compact - not much more than an inch thick, so easy to store or hang against a wall. We will be using this ladder frequently for chores mainly around the garage and outside the house.

.........or so I thought - not so - these are the best steps I've ever purchased - so much better than the waggly unstable aluminium sets in the past.Very, very stable and so well made and very cleverley designed - great cushion covered handles assist climbing the steps when hands are full and a great little platform at the top for using for one's tools and liquid holding vessels.The steps themselves are deep and so much easier on your feet when working.Delighted with my purchase - worth every penny.
