This device does everything that it says it will. The features that are not good are as follows: 1) There is no battery back-up. If the power goes off, everything is lost - all settings, all messages, everything. I am going to have to make an uninterruptible power supply of 5 volts for it - an interesting project. 2) The display is very difficult to read - lcd lettering is almost indecipherable. 3) The number of rings before it answers is inaccurate. If you set it to 8 rings, it picks up after 4 rings (not enough time to take the call before the answerphone kicks in). 10 rings (the maximum) is not much better. 4) The display showing the number of messages actually records the number of incoming calls, even if they have been taken by the telephones on the system. Altogether, not the best piece of kit, although the price is much lower than the other, more comprehensive machines.

It would be good if you could change outgoing message 2. It took a bit of time to set up but too long winded to change the message to "closed for lunch" or something similar. Message 2 voice sounds like the person has just got up and it's too much effort to speak!

This machine has a programmable remote access code; and, when you 'ring-in' the menu options are given, once the access code has been entered, so that it is easy to listen/repeat/delete your messages by following the spoken instructions.The machine also keeps details of all the 'phone numbers of all incoming calls, which may be useful.

To answer the telephone.It was complicated to set up. It shows the total number of telephone calls in large numbers, both answered and unanswered, which does not interest me. The indication of an answered call is just a tiny light with no sound.

Despite paying for a new product, this machine had clearly been used as the answerphone message was not the automated one as stated. I would have returned it but was desperate for a machine. Other than that it does what it says it will but you have to read the instructions on line as it does not come with them.

The machine seems to be not working (I think I've made connections fine, especially that I used answering machines previously, the telephone works but the machine does not pick up the signal). I have looked through the manual, which isn't helpful with this problem and contacted the manufacturer (it says so on the manual, to contact them for support). The person there asked me if I have an account with them, to which I replied no and was then told by him to contact the seller instead (so what's the point in having a support line in the officially supplied manual, where you can't even discuss the problem!!!). The manual could also be better written as it seems it was simply translated from some foreign poorly prepared manual.I've contacted Amazon to have the issue resolved and am awaiting their reply.

Surprised when I opened the package. It was offered as a Refurbished but seemed to be brand-new. The only quibble was with the instruction sheet - print hard to read because of small print. Display screen very clear with large digits.Most pleased.

I bought this as a used item, and I now I know why the previous buyer probably returned it. I cannot get it to pick up calls in either OGM1 or OGM2 mode. I am extremely technically minded but I cannot get it to work for love nor money. The line is carried through effectively to my existing phone but the unit does not seem to connect to the line itself, thus know when the line is ringing. The BT to RJ11 telephone cable it came with doesn't even work as I tried it on another phone to eliminate any variables. So I had to use my existing BT to RJ11 cable from my current phone to the unit. Also there was no RJ11 to BT plug adapter in the box - I guess the previous owner didn't return it. Luckily I had an RJ11 to RJ11 cable spare from my old router. So if the original buyer returned it because it wasn't working, why didn't the seller test it out to see if it worked before selling it again on Amazon? So overall I am very disappointed and will be returning for a refund!
